POST GAME Round 15 - Broncos vs Dragons

Kennedy got a flop back but unfortunately Milford had turned his back on the play. It was a prop promoting second phase play but Milford screwed the pooch on that one. Te'o missed the second try (tackle) I believe and the attacker wasn't Joffas man, he was Te'os. I don't think Joffa was at fault there. Anyone who watches Kennedy in the first 21 minutes will be hard pressed to find fault. He was actually very good especially as he hasn't played 20 games yet, is very young and having his first game starting. In fact his game would be considered very solid for a veteran middle tier prop. I'd encourage you to watch the replay and pay close attention to his first stint. You'll probably be surprised as most would be.
Hmm maybe it was the offload I’m remembering, that was lazy by Milford, but are we surprised? No we are not.

Mate I thought the first 2 tries were 100% on Joffa. The 2nd one he left Kennedy high and dry and Kennedy wore the brunt of the blame from stupid Braith.
The only thing Kennedy did was drop (or strip?) the ball.
I've had a third and fourth look at the second try against us and I tend to agree that both tries can be put down to Joffa to some extent. After checking closely it became apparent Te'o was checked just a small amount when coming across in cover but it was enough. It was only just enough to leave him less than half a metre(quarter?) short of getting a good grip. The attacker ran the perfect line and it really wasn't as soft as my I thought on first look. If not for the check I'm pretty sure they'd have stopped him cold.

In short Joffa was poor in the first try but not so much in the second, the second being more unlucky for both Joffa and Te'o. I think both Joffa and Kennedy will be better for the chance to start.

I'd say it was more a lack of awareness. He was getting ready for the next play instead of finishing the one he was involved in. Just like laziness, it's another negative aspect that has taken over his game.

Just watched that play again and 100% that was very poor from Milford. Had he simply kept his eyes on Kennedy the ball would have hit him centre of the chest. It was a very good offload. Kennedy had every right to expect someone in support ready for an offload. It was a deadset easy as pass to take, there wasn't anything hard, low or tough about it.

It was a textbook offload to a player who just had no game awareness whatsoever.

Credit to yourself for being strong enough to rewatch any games from this season also.

Too small, a center or 6 . I think rikki will be a great backrower tall and great runner of the ball , then staggs either inside or outside him.
Imo he'd be a waste as a backrower.

He is the same height as Glenn. How is he too small? He will bulk up naturally as he ages. He played backrow for Redcliffe in ISC and handled it easily. Just dont see an NRL backrower in Rikki tbh.

Thats disgusting from Milford. I know Croft is not the answer, but neither is Milf.

Not sure if your trolling but I'm pretty sure @Wolfie is being sarcastic, at least in reference to his score predictions. If he is not, than the man has lost the plot, and should seek help immediately 🤣

My score predictions are a bit tongue in cheek, but a lot of the other things i'm sure could improve us. Still think there are players in ISC who would improve us as a team and we seem to overlook them. The two i really like are Grant from Redcliffe for prop, and Putt from Norths for a back row position. I'd love to see us give Michael Purcell a crack as well. I'm convinced he could shine given a chance. I wouldnt be surprised if the Storm didnt take a look at him now he is at Easts.

Storm would never touch a player that trains like Purcell.

That’s not Milford’s fault, he wasn’t even looking.
Well luke is standing behind both milf and boyd, maybe it should be the hookers job to support the ball and be ready for the next ptb.
