It's not the scheduling, IMO: it's because of the resting of players.
True, and you don't win premierships in June. If we are going to be real contenders we have 10 weeks to sort it out.

Really? I can't remember being their 20 more than once or twice in the second half. They dominated possession and field position in the second half and 90% of the time that will win you the game.

BS ... the scheduling was a significant factor ... with the travel back from sydney + north to townsville it was effectively a three day turnaround for brisbane off a tough slog in the wet .. when you're playing off a bye and off two straight (bad) losses, it's a tough spot ...
What don't people understand that these players physically can't back up after Origin?
Hook doesn't have a choice FFS...
The Cowboys players backed up & played well.
The old it's the travel BS.
Apart from the Warriors, we have to travel the most.

how is that relevant? tamou and scott are not petero and justin hodges. thurston and tate are not forwards.
you saw last year how much fitter we were at the end of the season. locky said himself he felt great at the end of the year and he attributed it (on the commentary tonight) to being given the rests during origin.

Tate is just as injury prone as Hodges really.
Although I was surprised he backed up.
They were fitter, but it still didn't get us to the GF.
