There's a fair chance the Broncos find themselves last after this round. No Jake Turpin or Payne Haas heading into a game against a bogey team that's recorded some memorable victories against the Broncos in their recent encounters. Furthermore, the Dragons have played well in patches which is more than you can say for the Broncos where only individuals have played well.

Canterbury on the other hand find themselves against a very similar side in the Warriors. The last time these two teams met in Sydney it was Canterbury that caused the upset on the back of a Lachlan Lewis field goal. I can see a very similar game taking place with Canterbury very unlucky to walk away empty handed against the Tigers.

This is shaping up as a must win game for Parramatta. They're at full strength taking on a Melbourne side missing C. Smith, Munster, Finucane, Vunivalu - this is a golden opportunity to cast aside their demons and put together a commanding performance. They cannot afford to lose this, if they cannot beat Melbourne under these circumstances it'll be incredibly difficult to beat any of the top teams come the finals. Everything has fallen into place for Parramatta to taste premiership success they need to capitilise on it.

Look at the #21 for Sydney. It's only a matter of time before Sam gets his shot and I would not be shocked at all if it comes this weekend. I really enjoyed watching him play for the Kangaroos and the Maroons so I hope he finds his feet at this level. Who knows? He could turn out to be the best player of the family.

Shaun Johnson was only ever going to dig a deeper hole for himself by supporting proctor at the judiciary

I think it will be next week not this week.

Honestly our only hope is that the good Warriors turn up, which to their credit they've been doing lately so fingers crossed they can keep it up.

Chanel Harris Tevita and keighran had a head knock at training. cht is 50/50. Keighran is no chance..

I just cant see the Storm winning this. Too many players out against a very good side.

They are turning the escort rule into a joke

That's a big break for Parramatta, a clear knock on from Mahoney but Cummins was playing advantage for an offisde.

I hate those 'get-out of jail' penalties. So often it has nothing to do with the play and you get the feeling the referees would have happily let play continue.

To be fair when that play unfolded I immediately said challenge the penalty. Gutherson was clearly escorted
I disagree. He is allowed to chase back to the ball and allowed to stop, they got him because he looked at Gutherson.
If that's going to be the standard that's fine but we all know it wont be.

Hynes is off contract, have to be better than any fullback option we have for next year
