Well if Slater is out as well, would anyone still take a win seriously?
I'll take any win this year. Especially Melbourne away!

Slater out for the rest of the season. Goes under the knife on Tuesday.
I hate games like this.
Everybody is ragging on Melbourne, pointing out the fact that they're without Slater, Cronk and Koroibete so they're a bunch of no-hopers and Brisbane should win easy.
So let's say if the Broncos don't, what does it make them?
I've seen it so many times especially against hoodoo sides like the Dragons. Fans get confident, place all this pressure and the team goes down in a tight defence oriented scrap.
It's still a big game, especially in the context of the season and a win here could very well book the Broncos spot in the Top 4.
Plus, I really need a win because I'm still hurting big time over Wednesday.
Well, I'm not ragging on the Storm. The thing about this game is they are a damn good side no matter what.
A win will further establish our credentials, and a loss will show Bennett further exactly where our strengths and weaknesses lie and where he has to focus for the business end of this season.
As for cementing a spot in the top 4, for mine we have already done that. This Broncos outfit is a class side and is still evolving thanks to good coaching, especially discipline and attitude which, incidentally, is precisely what a game v Storm will test to the max.
This game is a real learning curve and win or lose, it will bring nothing but positives.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing if we can out-discipline the Storm.
Should be a great game regardless of who is in/out .... lots of history between the two sides.
