Well if that is the case they need to look at some of the Souths wins. We may have beating a few top 8 teams in Sharks, Tigers and Bulldogs. When we played them and had those wins, those teams hadn't fully found their straps, debate could be made on the Sharks having a few game winning streak.
Looking at the Broncos draw you guys do have a better run at the start of the year with the draw compared to the end. However at the start of the year you don't know how teams are going to travel. As we are now halfway through we have an idea of what the final 8 could be and that isn't the fault of the Broncos.
You can only really compare this match with the last match. Broncos grind won them the last match and with a few chances Souths failed to capitalise. I think this match will very much mirror that one but hopefully we do capitalise this time.
I just dont understand that kind of logic, some teams struggle against others no matter where they are on the ladder. Broncos have lost twice to the Cowboys yet they have lost twice to a bottom team in the Titans who have already been beaten by Brisbane.
Anyway Brisbane have a tough Schedule coming up so you wont know until you try.
Any team can win on their day and looking at the ladder there are really only 2 teams you can't rate with a chance to get into the finals but the rest are still in with a chance but need to pull their fingers out now. A good team voodoo that breaks that idea is the rate the Raiders are able to beat the Dragons.
I think the main issue people have with the Broncos is that everyone thought that once they lost their messiah in Lockyer that they would turn to shit. However it never happened and they look as strong as ever with a very young but mentally mature team who have been grinding out wins very well.
You are correct not just with Broncos but Souths have also exceeded expectaions. Well anyway I apologise i wasn't saying anything bad against your team.
Don't apologise as I never took it that way. Just everyone has a Souths fans prospective but they always seem to be the warped, "we won the charity shield, so give us the NRL trophy" mindset.
We are exceeding expectations for sure. The culture is starting to change and Maguire is instilling a self belief that we haven't had since the late 80's if not the "Pride of the League" eras.
I thought I heard a rumbling or two that Michael McGuire wasn't too fussed on keeping him anyway (?)
Twiz, do you know what the circumstances were re Dave Taylor leaving Souths for the Titans ? Must admit I didn't read too much about it at the time and while it was very much painted as Taylor wanting to go home ect, I thought I heard a rumbling or two that Michael McGuire wasn't too fussed on keeping him anyway (?)

Wow, McGuire at lock. I reckon he will kill it there, even more so than he already does at prop
