Raiders are a tipsters nightmare but given their horrible record at ANZ I'm willing to back the Bunnies to get the comfortable victory.

I'm really weary about Storm/Tigers. On one hand, Tigers 2013 are a terrible side but on the other the Tigers have the wood on Melbourne in this fixture and with Smith out it may give them the edge. I'm tipping Melbourne based on bonce back but would not be surprised to see Farah make it his personal mission to take it in a tight one.

I'm shaping left and going right and backing the Dragons to exact some revenge against the Panthers.

I was impressed by the Knights performance against Melbourne in Melbourne and while they were beaten on the back of a masterclass from Smith I expect the return of Buderus to yield positive results.

Hate to say it, but Warriors in New Zealand are a daunting task at the best of times but backing up from an Origin? It's going to take a hell of an effort from the Broncos and I just don't think they have that in them this year.

Isn't it strange to see a North Queensland game on a Sunday? I can sense a mini Cowboys resurgence after last week and given they're playing at home, I believe they'll get up in a tight one. Hopefully JT kicks plenty of goals!

A rematch from one of the games of the season and you better believe I'm looking forward to it. I get the feeling that the return of Brett Stewart will be timely and that they'll catch the Roosters in a time of uncertainty as they've lost their five eigth and are coming off one of their best wins of the season.

And like that it's 10-2.

I like that run around play you see with the dummy halves, I'd like to see us steal that at some point.

I dunno what to make of the Raiders. On paper, they've got one of the better teams in the comp. I guess they are missing both Edrick and Ferguson though...

I think it's about time they got rid of Robinson and put Milford at fullback. I reckon that could be his position, and they'd have the most ridiculous backline in the comp at full fitness.

Rabbitohs are a class side and it was fantastic to see their crowd get into the spirit. The scary aspect about their performance was how they were able to treat it like a stroll in the park despite all the players missing/backing up from Wednesday.

Raiders were too disjointed tonight. Some players were up for it, most weren't and it appears Blake's misbehavior has taken the wind out of their sails. They've definitely got a lot of talent but the problem is they lack the leadership and guidance when things go against them and they just can't guts out the tough periods. I really didn't think much of McCrone, Campese or Buttriss tonight and Milford isn't ready to save the Raiders from themselves.

Canberra may find themselves in the finals, but they're not going all the way this year and I don't think they will until they make some big decisions. I really believe they need to move on some of their senior players. Particularly Shillo, TLL and possibly Campese if he doesn't show anything in 2014.

The funny thing is, those moving on players will end at the broncos.

I can't help it but I still like Campese. I know I shouldn't but he reminds me of Lockyer at times. Wish I could say I'm on drugs but that particular pleasure is denied me these days ! I always thought he'd make a great five eighth for us. Obviously I'm wrong but, all the same. The Raiders may not make the finals, in fact I'm sure they won't.

I remember the 1989 series when Souths were tear away leaders and collapsed in the finals so history may repeat. Having written that though they didn't have the class of Inglis nor a team of Poms in the side. I hope they fall to pieces all the same !

CP go home, you're drunk! :001_tt2:

Adam Reynolds and Michael McGuire would have to be the best things that have happened to Souths since their golden days. All the old-school and "coming close is close enough" attitude went right out the window the moment when Madge came in and Reynolds was the final piece of the puzzle.

Madge definitely, but replace Reynolds with Inglis.
Adam is a breath of fresh air compared to Sandow, but he is just a very well coached solid halfback.

Try of the season contender to Blake Ayshford.

Length of the field effort which started from the Tigers in-goal and went through about 4 sets of hands.

Tigers destroyed the Storm 22-4. Cam Smith was missing but hardly an excuse when you still have Slater and Cronk to steer the team.

Farah controlled the game very well and Marshall has been getting back to his best.

Smith being out is a pretty huge blow, it's like the Broncs when we were without Lockyer. Neither Cronk or especially Slater are good enough organisers on their own.
