I wonder why Norman wasn't used at all. Our whole bench was very ineffective.
I reckon it's because Hook didn't want a little fella who can't defend that well in the line on a night like that so he put Glenn there. It wasn't that bad of an idea IMO.

I agree, Norman wouldn't have offered much out there last night .... maybe a long kick here and there and that's about all.

Glenn looked good at dummyhalf..... good service and some good quick runs from there as well.

I hope Hook took notice ;)

Apart from some 5th tackle plays we didn't play too badly. Lockyer wasn't able to play his usual game and I thought he did alright. You can't expect him to throw 30 metre passes etc in this game

Locky confuses me sometimes - He's the master of wet weather footy but sometimes throws his wet weather footy tactics out the window. I'm a bit skeptical about our attack - It's not fluent and I think we struggle chasing points. Hard to read into the game I guess. Would have been GOLD if we could take 2 pts out of that game.

Why the heck did we not Kick into the automatic wicky in goals???!!!!

AAARRGGH.

Worst game I've ever seen from Locky.

Interesting game. Take out Souths ambush in the first 5 mins and we win that game.

This is not the only game in which Copley has had bad drops of the ball. Work on it young man.

We tried the ball just skidded on
5 times caught on tackle 5 would suggest we didn't

I meant when we actually kicked it, but a couple of those times we almost scored

I know. So I have no idea why they didn't persist? They nearly scored or got drop outs. But no, let's try and run it. AARRGGHHH!

First one in some time though. He'd been solid the last 6 weeks or so. Disappointing.

hmm easy to brush the loss aside due to conditions but it really worries me that we weren't able to knuckle down and win that game. if we want to be any chance of a premiership we've got to win them. our team seems to lack versatility at times.

anyway upwards and onwards to the eels.

Ok so we failed to break their line more than twice, The Rabbits also failed to to get over more than twice. Some people are acting like they smashed us.

Our attack needs to be worked on in a MAJOR way.
I'm not overly concerned with our defense, it's just our attack is pathetic right now.

Did you see the conditions? Our attack was shit because you needed a snorkel to run up and down the field. No team in the NRL would of been able to put on set after set of clinical attack in them conditions.

Bad weather + 1ft of water over the field = shit ball control and attack

In good conditions on a fast track we would have won IMO

It's hard to blame our attack when the boys were playing in a swimming pool.

Putting in some fancy attack in those conditions, that pathetic team would have smashed us. Copley and Thaiday would have dropped it every set.

On the positive side, South Sydney are favourites for the 2012 National Waterpolo League.
