POST GAME Round 16 - Roosters vs Broncos

What is the record for the most points conceded in one season? Even with the shortened season we must be close

Fucking pathetic! It is one step forward, 58 steps back. The club is a joke. Having the commentry teams and general public laughing about where the broncos are at is infuriating.

Real problem we have down that right edge, who can we put next to Katoni to save that side. Or do we move Katoni elsewhere. He's an absolute gun in attack, his defensive reads are just not up to where they need to be - particularly with weak defensive wingers outside him every week.

Deardon puts ball on ground. Morris flicks it away with his foot. Video ref sees it in slow mo. "Ball lost by Deardon". Fucking twilight zone sometimes.

We need the second ref back to watch the ruck. The Roosters were just holding our jerseys preventing us from getting up, "6 again".

Sounds like sour grapes I know but even if we get on an even keel with teams in the future we still have to overcome this bullshit.

lol, 523 points conceded at -301 and mathematically out of playoff contention with a month left in the regular season. We have gone full Gold Coast Chargers.

Potentially next year could be just as bad then maybe it gets better.

Yeah, there were some weird calls, but when you are down, the ref would put more belief in a form side to be in the right. The Dearden challenge was one of those technicalities that Broncos always seem to be on the receiving end of. Slater drop kick try, Lyon Torso-try etc.

This is one of the all time worst NRL teams. Do you know what the scariest part about that is? Those other contenders for worst ever weren't brimming with young talent that were ready to turn it around in the years that followed. They were packed full of has-beens and never-weres.

My point is that if history is any indicator, the odds that all of these young guys we're persevering with will end up having long NRL careers seems really unlikely. In fact, it seems more likely than not that quite a few of these guys who aren't named Haas or Staggs will probably find themselves either overseas, playing reserve grade or in a different vocation all together in a few years time.
