POST GAME [Round 17, 2022] Broncos vs Dragons

Zac Hoskings was unreal, he just didn’t stop, add a bit more weight to his frame & he could be a very handy buy. Played better than Riki has for most of the season. He reminds me of capewell.

My only issue with him was that if good first contact was made on him, he was driven back easily, and it happened quite a few times. He's pretty lanky for a forward, but it probably has a bit more to do with body positioning (leaning in to the contact lower).

Good win in the end. Frustrating at times, but this was to be expected with 10 out. Wtf is wrong with Riki? He’s barely first grade standard at the moment.

he always looks like he's about to cry at the end of games

Great win, I can't be happier with that. 9 changes, a debut, return from injuries ect every excuse in the book for the boys to have come out with a defeatist attitude but they produced some exciting play and earned the victory. Hetherington and Palasia were huge, but Hetherington was the man of the match for mine. Top stuff fellas.

Yeah he’ll learn. It’s pretty normal for players stepping up to run tall. They need Oatesy to show all the young ones how it’s done.

He's not fulltime either, he is a chippie that got called in a month ago. Training fulltime would certainly help his strength.

I thought he ran some incredibly smart lines that made up for probably a lack of power that someone like TC has. He was excellent i thought tonight. Nothing flashy but just solid in all areas.

I don't see why some people are so critical of Niu.

He had a great game, arguably our MOTM. He made some errors, but the good thing is he got over them. He didn't go into his shell and instead took the game on and played a big part on our win scoring a try, having a hand in two others and almost a third.

Considering it was first game since he did his hamstring in Round 6, he did pretty good.

Reminded me a lot of Shaun Lane.

I dont know if this has been mentioned yet but when the old boys were leaving the ground before the game, each of them made a point of walking over to Haas and shaking his hand. Make of that what you will.
