POST GAME [Round 17, 2022] Broncos vs Dragons

Oh FFS mate .
James got sets on a roll . Fast play the balls . And defended like a champ . That was outstanding .
RK made ground late in the game when the ruck was looser . Also an offload and a steal . Very good for his minutes .
James paved the way for RK to shine late . And again Kevvie wrapped him in the press conference . Why do you think he keeps doing that . Ryan has compromising photos of Kev ?
Rubbish. He did nothing of the sort. His hitups were slow, his pub's average and he made his tackles, very very average performance but you think it's stellar ONLY because it was better than his absolute garbage normal contribution. Don't give a **** that KW sucks him off every chance he gets, he was just okay and nothing else. 74 metres in 40 minutes is very very poor.

OK Boomer .
Stellar was not the word I used . I said outstanding . Because he stood out in that group .

LOL.

He did his job. 97% tackle. 34 post contact for 40 mins isn't bad.

His PTB speed was actually 1.5sec quicker than Kennedy on average too.

Stolen from a reddit post, the Broncos Unavailable XIII (Paix in on a technicality due to playing about 2 minutes). A lack of speed in the centres, but otherwise a solid team.

1. Farnworth
2. Oates
3. Robati
4. Capewell
5. Cobbo
6. Martin
7. Kelly
8. Haas
9. Paix*
10. Jensen
11. Piakura
12. Flegler
13. Carrigan

That would be a little hypocritical of Lazzo who left Brisbane to be the Storm's inaugural captain. Not to mention him being headhunted by former Broncos teammate Chris Johns. Or Gilly, who left to the Panthers. You can spot them in the background here:

You misinterpreted my post. Neither of those players pulled the shit Haas did, not even close.

Played his best game yet .
I was concerned about him and Plasia as starters . They did their jobs . KP needs to get those penalties and errors out of his game . He could be a real asset if he he can clean that up .

The James as link man was gold I thought . Gave space for Rendiggity and the edges . He threw nice passes .

James actually put on some nice hits in the first half if we want to be honest here

He was a lot better than I expected .
A bit more oomph with the ball and tackled well .

A lot of our early metres were made by the backs weren’t they?

Just caught the presser. I love the relationship between Reynolds and Kev. I think we'll look back on this Reynolds signing a few years down the track and the plaudits for him will rightfully continue. Its just as much his stuff off the pitch as it is on, and if he is happy to stay in Bris post his footy career I'd find him a role on the coaching staff. His influence on the club has been unbelievable.

I agree he was better but 74 metres in half a game isn't great and that doesn't mean I don't think he tackled solidly and had a capable workmanlike game. There was nothing outstanding, just good solid work but short for metres gained. He was better than I expected too but I'm not lavishly praising him for doing the basic job expected.

Alf is getting old. Waterboy successor?
