While I agree with most of your post the NRL can only suspend him if they believe he directed it at the ref. While I appreciate the sentiment of give him a week to think about his behaviour on the field, if you start suspending players for swearing at the opposition or team mates you won't have enough players to field a team.

All the interactions he had with the ref were poor on his behalf. The ref should have handled it from the very first. Only the Captain should be conversing with the ref. Walsh shouting at him is contrary conduct, if they want to see it that way. I hope they don't see it that way, and agree with you, though.

We don't have a poor history with the judiciary. That's pure fantasy, a tedious conspiracy theory that's not backed up by our record this year. That horse has been flogged to death.

Walsh is defending the charge using Nick Ghabar. The club must think they have evidence to acquit him. That's the basis for me expecting him to get off. But if the ref testifies he thinks Walsh was talking to him, then he's gone. And none of us should have any objection to it. Well I certainly won't.

I'm not sure you even watch the Broncos play.
