PRE-GAME Round 17 - Broncos vs Warriors

The spine conundrum with Boyd is too difficult to figure out .. but as long as TPJ keeps running on the fringe in attack to make the most of his size and offload I'll be appeased.

Seriously, the halfback spot is becoming like trying to take the Defense Against the Dark Arts role at Hogwarts. Who the hell put a curse on the Broncos 7 spot?

Bad news for Paix but he was never going to play this weekend anyway. The team list will be as named, he wasn’t going to back up and then by snuck into the team last minute even if he got through unscathed.

He travelled the world studying various forms of voodoo. He became a master which doctor and has placed a curse on the number 7 broncos jersey, striking down any half that would challenge his mantle as the most recent premiership winning broncos half.

It all lines up, the drop ball in the 2015 gf, the successive injuries. Its perry!

Actually the curse existed well before then, just ask Scott Prince and Ben Ikin.

Captain hindsight over here....

Releasing Niko was part of easing salary cap pressure which has now allowed us to resign most of our current squad as well as making a couple of handy signings to depth players.

Also re moving Milf to FB. Seibold said in a media interview a few weeks back that it was a move that he was waiting to do over the pre season for 2020 but with the emergence of Dearden and SoS and how well they were playing along with our season not exactly being a brilliant one. It was a good chance to experiment with the team. Obviously more injuries have now put a dampener on it but I still see no issue with this at all.

Anyone can look back across all player transfers this year and make judgement on them being not the best but at the time they were.
I can't see why Broncos supporters cant just get behind our team, we are looking super promising and the new guys that are putting on the Broncos jersey are doing our club proud. Yea we may not win the premiership this year but I am happy with the direction we are going and I'm happy with the decisions and conversations that it appears Seibold is having.

Plus there's still a chance for us to make the 8 this year. Lets keep pushing!

Mate a vast majority of us are onboard! Just a few wet blankets, and the media in general aren't.
