Right, Croker goes off with aknee injury but they pretend it's a HIA so they get a free interchange. If the NRL doesn't fine them for that rubbish they may as well just give every team 12 interchanges again.

I know teams dodgy up the HIA all the time, but that was the most obvious abuse of it I've seen yet. His head wasn't hit at any point, he got hit hard on his knee, he was clutching his knee, 2 minutes later they tap the head to pretend it's a HIA. I'm amazed the commentators didn't call it out.

I don't know what the NRL are going to do about these forward pass calls. Good passes being called back. Bad ones let go. It's just a lottery and the touchies are mostly just guessing by the looks of it.

I would like to see a camera replace the touch judge.

A camera that keeps up with the play and have one person in the bunker inspecting that camera feed and have the authority to make calls. A side-on view would probably be the only way you could really tell whether a pass has left the hands forward or not.

It wouldn't be a perfect system, but surely it would be better than what the touchies dish up these days.

They have pretty much admitted that with the stripping rule.

9 times out of 10 the officials don't even see it, but they just take a guess based on how the ball comes out.
