They have won 2/8 with Walsh in the team, 1/7 with him at fb and RTS on the wing. The 2 victories were by 4 points over the tigers and cowboys....They won 3/6 prior to the move. What exactly is threatening about it? RTS is a shell of himself, Walsh creates more tries for the opposition then the warriors. RTS has been a dally m mmedalist and the best fullback in the comp at times in an era that had multiple fullback who were/are once in a generation. Walsh is textbook for needing a year in QLD cup, and RTS should be playing fullback, no question...

You guys can’t see our likes but another great analysis. It’s amazing how opposition fans know so much about our team 🤣

too small for wing but ok for fullback?

that doesnt make any sense

i dont think he is big enough for fullback either hence either play him at 6 or of the bench at 14

Walsh and Niu - 177cm
Papenhuyzen and Brimson - 181cm
Edwards - 183cm
Tedesco - 184cm

Yeah, Walsh and Niu are the shortest fullbacks out there but not by a huge amount. I don't think height is as much an issue at fullback as long as you have a good tall winger who can back you up.

To'o likes like the shortest winger out there and he's 182cm. Height is more of an issue for wingers IMO because they have to deal with cross field kicks.

Height, like age, is not such an issue if you are talented enough. Those of us old enough will remember the great Les Johns, the Canterbury fullback and one of my favourite non-Manly players (I played against him a couple of times, but at cricket not RL) and he was around 5ft 6in. I know, the role of a fullback has changed over the years. Height is an asset, but it can be overcome.
Ash Barty is only 5ft 5in but she beat a girl 6ft 1in to win the Wimbledon final.

Goeff Toovey is about 5ft 6in

Loved watching him take down giants like Paul Harrigan back in the day....

I think it's just curiosity because the media and some Broncos fans have not realized that Walsh only has streaks of NRL quality, not full games of NRL quality in him and he needs time to cook.

I agree there’s probably been massive overhype on the kid and selecting him for Origin did nothing to quell that curiosity.

Still very raw and needs more time to develop, but the Aussie are ruthless when it’s comes to looking for a story and once they bite it’s hard to let go.

Walsh (and Walker) are just young. By the time they are 22 or 23, they will be top 5 players in the NRL. Fortunately, they are both Queenslanders.

Broncos got the bye (2 points) so I guess they're the only ones happy this weekend.

- Depending on whether they think Hass for 10 years is a good deal.

POSITION VACANT: Someone to replace Morkel as Digital Artist. Must be able to make signature of attractive football players once every 3-5 years. Will be paid in likes from time to time.

Long contracts - fraught with danger, that's for sure.

Question on the Walker running backwards play...

A voluntary tackle is a penalty still?

They couldn't catch him to tackle him!

And voluntary tackles also involve no tackle! Just mulling on the interpretation of it all.

Walker won the game. I couldn't care less whether people thought it was arrogant.

I'm fine with what Walker did. No different to teams taking 23423 seconds to play the ball when there's a minute left on the clock.

It's a cowardly act, like a boxer running away from his opponent.
