I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't flog them with essentially the same team we used against the Dragons + Fleggs.

I don't expect a kicking game from them to be much better but they will lack elsewhere which for the Dragons was basically full strength.

Niu backing up a decent performance with another will be what it comes down to imo, I do feel like Reynolds is due a really good game though, the ribs should be getting better.

It should be better but he can be rattled easily as well, if his kicking game overwhelms Niu I think thats sticks for him tbh.

Dragons didn't threaten him at all and it's been his biggest issue in the past, having a fullback that can handle it is almost as important as everything else and we get that with Martin, we have seen how much it improves our team.

If he has a dud game I would give Cobbo a crack till Martin is back.

What an absolute ridiculous take on an accidental collision. He was great in game 1 and like many other debutants down in game 2. Came out firing in game 3 and got taken out accidentally in the line of fire and this was BECAUSE he was putting in. He didn't look like a kid at all smashing To'o on the first tackle. Did you think Nanai (who is younger) looked like a kid out there too despite bring one of our best players?

I really, really, really hate that Turpin is in the team again. I'd prefer to risk it another forward on the bench in his spot. We need the metres and Turpin provides absolutely nothing. If Walters insists on having a 2nd hooker on the bench I'd be starting Turpin and get him off after 15-20 mins, not to come back on. That would serve us much better.

Even "clarkey" didn't put him in his "2nd origin team" (although tbf he is absolutely the worst judge of talent I have ever come across in the social media sphere, as well as obvious bias towards the titans due to being one of their 14 fans)

but hethrington runs bloody hard, has great late footwork, has high intensity, can ball play a little bit, doesnt have errors or penalties in him, and hits like a fucking steam train. Absolutely built for that arena. If he was in a cowboys jersey he would have been in the team this year. Not the most talented player but he is tailor made for it...

In a year or two we will see him and a fair few other Broncos in the QLD squad. He's competing with some old heads and locked in players at the moment. Same as Flegler. In fact, he could have almost replaced Flegler this year, but Flegs is locked in due to his size and previous selection. Won't be long, I'm sure.

I think Hetho is still a bit too green, but I rate him. He's a gun, I think he'll make origin sooner or later, he won't go under the radar for long but I'm glad he isn't noticed by the media, will make it much easier to re-sign him.

I think on playing ability alone he is there, but given he is a smaller forward he needs to be capable of big minutes to be in consideration and he is a bit far from that yet.

He's going to be a bit unlucky Cotter is around and is about the same age. A hell of a lot of people, me included on here were expecting him to be a cert for the lock position here but he picked up that injury, and then Pat went and took his game into another stratosphere and he's made the 13 shirt his own. Still think we should dispose of Payne and move Pat to prop and give the 13 to Kobe.
