Kevvie really should be making the call to rest Cobbo this week.

It's pretty clear that hip pointer injury was still bothering him against the Titans and I highly doubt he'll be 100% now. With the bye next week, he'll be given two weeks rest to help recover from it.

I really worry about this game, there’s a lot of pressure on it to begin with because it’s a derby, but now there’s extra pressure because of last week. We lose and they might really drop in confidence and memories of last year may become self fulfilling. Phins side isn’t that bad, they will be up for this game, with our outs I could see it really going either way. I saw the phins were paying $4.50 on Monday, that’s just crazy long given our form, even before last week.

Same. Titans game was the key to our future and we didn’t use it. Dolphins won’t be easy.

Has Sailor been training at fullback or someone else?

Broncos skipper Adam Reynolds confirmed the 25-year-old had trained in Walsh’s place this week, with winger Selwyn Cobbo able to relieve him if needed.

“I’m sure he [Sailor] will play most of the time there.

“If he needs a spell at some stage Selwyn can pop back there, Herbie [Farnworth] can pop back there, so there’s plenty of options,” Reynolds said.

“He’s been unreal, he’s trained the house down, they upgraded his contract there and he’s been preparing us really well.

They upgraded his contract?

I thought it was only in the works but that would mean he is officially a Top 30 player now, not bad.

Yep an important and tricky game this one...... another loss, a bit more of a slide on the ladder and the pressure mounts. Add to that we will be missing some quality players for a few weeks it could all turn to sh*t.

It's been reported that Chris Butler isn't reffing a game this week. Even though Annesley denies it, it looks like he has been dropped for a week.

Considering some of his baffling decisions (especially 6 agains for both sides) and his loss of control of the game last week I think it's the right call.

If he's been dropped it's because he didn't clearly say that Reece was talking to him.

So the ref admits he didn't hear or see Walsh swearing, but Walsh is suspended for it and the ref is also dropped. Makes perfect sense!

I'd like to see Cobbo have a rest and bring in Arthurs. Sailor definitely deserves the FB jumper while Walsh is out after his performance last time.

I'd love to see Herbie get dropped but that's not going to happen.

As much as I shit on the NRL and how terribly run it is as an organisation, I really do get a lot of entertainment from it. It's like watching a head-on collision of two Minis and then seeing a stream of clowns pour out from the wreckage while Mr. Plodd (Annesley) holds up a hand to stop you filming, shouting "nothing to see here".

To be honest he looked slow and lethargic before the hip pointer.

They should have fined him as well.......

That my friends is the leader of half breaks!!!
What is a half break you ask?! Good question!

Half break
A situation in which a ball-carrier is able to briefly get through the defensive line but is tackled before they can make a clean break.

Sounds to me like being half pregnant. Nevertheless, he leads it!

Btw, Reyno also leads the “Almost Goal Scored” category. It’s like a half break, it was close to being a goal. Stupid NRL, what kind of stat is a half break?!

The kind that let the media dictate what they should or shouldn’t do.
