Wallace syndesmosis, could miss the rest of the season.

Shame really, I wanted to see Hunt run rings around him.

in regards to running rings, yeah we have them in the half back position but they are all over us for every other position.

Outside backs? No

Hooker? No

Second Row? **** no

Front Row? Maybe, it's close

What do you mean, they're all over us?

Penrith are a well coached side it I don't think they have that talent to challenge Manly, Roosters and Souths in the finals.

You don't think our second row is better than theirs?

Interesting to note Panthers and Broncos have almost identical stats on the points table except they have eked out the extra 2 wins

Probably a reflection of the fact they have two halves instead of our one.

This. It cannot be said enough. Trouble is, those who should won't listen.

Yet, even given that we play on one leg, as far as I am concerned, we can be every bit as good as any team. Our position on the ladder, and results, show it. Not bad for a team playing on crutches.

Nevertheless. the difference between us and the top 4 teams is we lack the discipline to play as well as we can consistently for 80 minutes, and the reason for that is poorly coached structures and poorly coached commitment to playing to our strengths.

If we play with discipline and commitment especially in defence, and Barba regularly compensates for Hoffman, and Hunt and Barba look to combine with Gillett and Glenn (for starters), we can beat the Panthers.

Penrith have had an easy draw and have been unaffected by origin. Yet to be tested.

All good points.

I think we have the better personnel in many positions, but they are a well balanced and coached side who are far more cohesive as a team.

In addition to your points, I'd say that if Parker backs up from Origin, we're a much better chance. He leads from the front and I believe his commitment to the cause rubs off on the rest of the team.

I do hope he doesn't get goal kicking duties though...

Idris, Mansour and Peachey look very strong. We will have to be right on our game. Wallace will have a point to prove.

Good thing is the harder the opposition and the higher the quality of the game, the better the Broncos play.

I feel reasonably confident about this one. I think we'll have been well rested from the week off, ready to fire.

The Sharks game - good to see the Roosters fell into the same trap.

What point is he proving? that he would have beaten us if he wasn't injured?

I think he is out for while........

which of course is deluded thinking on "Wallace the nuffy's" behalf......

What if we beat them in his absence?

Proves the same point . Didn't know he was injured.

Still will be a tough game. Hoping Origin stars can back up.
