That fcukin dreaded trip to the shithole country for a garbage WCC compounded by Haa’s defection has set us up backwards.

Not just physically but mentally, we’re a cooked team.

Riki’s bombed try was worse.
Our game plan of not tackling for 40 minutes to conserve energy or something, didn’t seem to work.

I’d say they’ll give it another crack next week, the way things look.

Absolutely wild to think where we were only just months ago.
Certainly something happening under the surface. This isn’t a united group.
There is every chance we go 0/4 and sit at the bottom of the ladder.

Credit to eels they were very good. They seem to play out of their skin at suncorp, if they played like that consistently they are a top 4 team. Few little moments lost us this game unfortunately

Mariner was quiet, but he should have come up with the match winning play. He made a great bust and was looking for support but no one was in coo-ey. Maybe Reynolds would have been if he wasn't controversally taken out in backplay. Maybe the Broncos would have come up with a better follow-up play too.

I'm not too worried. Despite the Eels having the majority of possession in the second half, the Broncos gave themselves opportunities, it just wasn't their night.

I am somewhat worried about the state of the game. The top teams will adjust, but I'm worried for the middle of the road teams and how much of a slog the game is going to become. You see so much better footy off of set starts, the set restart is just headless chook stuff that looks more ass than class.

It's vlandys masterplan to even all the teams playing field to make for more action and attempt to bring more revenue in. There is going to be a repeat of last year with about 10 teams all on similar ladder points attempting to make the 8 because the players can't keep up with the high fatigue these games cause.
