POST GAME [Round 20, 2022] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

Despite his usual meters, i thought he was ineffective. Not just him, but they contained our pack pretty easily. I dont think any of our forwards punched through the line like they did against the Eels. The physicality and intent just wasnt there. They gave us very little platform to work from.
The dumb **** needs to get to ground and give us a quick play the ball. He's selfish and not a team player at all. Everyone knows that you just hold onto him until he stops because he's not going to do anything but pad his metres made stat and get the opposition onside.

He didn’t train all week, as he was struck down with the flu.

To me it looked like he was still feeling the effects of it. He should have been given the week off, get ready and come back and train ahead of the Roosters game.

He would hardly have been missed last night, even if the result was the same, but he would have been fresher for next week…
"flu" not flu

Drops bombs, ergo, he makes an attempt to catch them as opposed to letting them bounce because he does not want to engage with a contest for the catch. Your blind support of Tesi is admirable, your lack of willingness to acknowledge his faults undermines your credibility.
You clearly have an "agenda." I suspect you're an anti-Tesite.

You are not funny. I think he is a great young player, just has a few things to work on. See, that is an opinion as opposed to your agenda ridden rants.

The classic being Cobbo being knocked out as proof that he was not ready for Origin. You are a genius.

What are you trying to say without saying it, here? Do you have info the rest of us don't?
I'm saying one journalist reported he had the "flu." The same journalist who reported Ezra Mam had it a few weeks ago and then deleted the tweet. If he really had the flu, he wouldn't have got over it in a day or two. "Flu" could be a euphemism for hangover for all we know.

When did the bug crawl up your arse and eat your nutsack? I'm entitled to have an opinion.

It's my opinion Selwyn wasn't ready for Origin. Big fucking deal.

Poor ole Reece doesn't stand much of a chance with you when he gets here does he..... 😆

Haven`t seen that much of Walsh to tell the truth .
High light reels is about all . I know he`s good . But so is Fontesi .

Said it before let them fight it out in pre season and trials . Then we can compare apples with apples .

Kev shot the team in the foot with player selection. Niu, Mariner, Palasia should be replaced with TMM, Lee, Gamble. Simple fix. Kev tends to punish players that aren't "loyal" but we're in a premiership window so selecting players that gives Broncs the best winning chance should be prioritised over selecting players for development. Kev should cop the blame on the chin for this loss. Let's see if he's a quick learner with team selection for next round.

Yeah , ole Lindsay Collins he`s not ready for 1st grade or Origin .

What is it that makes him not ready Mc Hunt ?
He put himself in a dangerous position chasing from marker ? [ Does it regularly in the NRL and makes multiple tackles when he does ] . You will also see Kotoni do similar to chase from marker . But he doesn`t do the repeat efforts like Selwyn .

Or are you of the opinion he is not physically ready ?
Any player who gets in a collision like that can be concussed . Experienced players maybe even more easily concussed if they have a history . [Jake Friend , Boyd Cordner for eg ]

More insight into why would help some of us understand what seems to be an outlying opinion / agenda .

A faulty covid test can make covid a flu

Because we dropped this game we are going to have to get a win against either easts or Melbourne to sneak into top 4, on top of winning the games we should be favourites in. And then we get to play Penrith away…

It really shits me that we blew this opportunity, we should never have lost it.

Man, I was spruiking Selwyn in here long before he ever played a game for us and have been one of his biggest fans. I was leery about him being picked so soon because he'd only just evolved from a history of bumbles, errors, and sluggish chases. In fact I was the one who posited he might be recovering from Covid when all were screaming he be sent back to the Q Cup.

The notion I'm harbouring some nefarious hidden "agenda" whatever the **** that insane term means in this context, is beyond braindead. I can't take anyone seriously who uses that term unless they're talking about 911 and jet fuel melting steel beams.

Why did I think he shouldn't have played Game 3? Because on top of being so inexperienced, and having the highest error rate in the NRL, he put in the worst game ever seen in a QLD jersey in game 2. His first game was okay, enough to warrant sticking with him out of loyalty. But game 2 was an atrocity. And no, he wasn't the only one, but he was the worst.

As for all the histrionics about me daring to point out he didn't last two minutes in Origin 3. Well, I was half taking the piss after being the only one saying he should be dropped, but it was literally true. I thought the tackle that knocked him out was amateurish, and betrayed a lack of game awareness, but I realize everyone else will disagree. I don't care to go on with it. You want to say it was purely an accident. Fine. I don't care to go on with it, but I still think he needs more time in the NRL.

Is that enough or do we need further temper tantrums on the subject?

Justin Hodges says hi!

Fair points elsewhere though, carry on.

Kevin was taking this as an easy win especially with the debut of Mariner when he wasn't needed. Definitely a big learning spot for Kevie never to assume a win when coaching in the NRL.
