PRE-GAME Round 20 - Broncos vs Cowboys

What’s the bet we end up getting fucked over by these experimental rules and get the spoon
I was thinking that too....ironic that they bring it in now.....not the trials during pre season like any other year...if we fluke a win i reckon the fix will be on for the dogs to do the same

How does this bunker reviewing the try during the conversion work? If the dude kicks the conversion and then they realise oh that's not a try, what do they do?
Maybe they will get rid of the bunker and go on what the fuckwits on Ch9 come up with.....TRY all day if its a sydney club

Is this like the 6 again rule where they’re trying to make it less transparent so no one notices the **** ups. Will the viewers be shown the try review during the conversions or have the ruling explained?
Or are we just meant to trust they didn’t **** it up like always?

I'd imagine if there are any concerns regarding put downs, etc. The bunker will flag it to the ref for review and they will hold up play until the vid ref comes to a decision.

I don't think they are necessarily preventing the ref going to vid ref for a review in normal circumstances either.. because if they want to go no try there is no time for a review to take place.

I think it is there for the ones that look obvious and then the vid ref can check it in the background to make sure there's nothing blatant happening before the conversion

My understanding with the trial rule change is to stop the ref sending up a decision to the "bunker" if they think it is a try.
Just award it and then in the 30-60 seconds it takes to walk and set up a conversion it is checked. I think it is a brilliant concept. Yes the viewers should be given full visibility but this is the model used in the NFL where every touchdown is checked during TD celebrations, etc.
Will speed up the game tremendously and produce more natural reaction and euphoria from the fans when a try is scored. Let's see how it works but I'm in favour. Let's get off the bottom, carn Broncs!!

This team looks about as good as it has all year.

Nice that Joffa and Joppa get a swansong in Broncos colours but I would have preferred to give the minutes to Bullemor and Kennedy.

Don’t forget about boydy. But to be honest he’s probably had a hand in most of our tries this season..

None of these rule changes sound good. I’m ready to tap out from this sport.

Not only that, but the way it’s been done at the start of the season and now is disgraceful. One set of rules for all teams, for the entire season, please.

Make rule changes in pre-season and trials.

You have to laugh....

I have NO DOUBT we will be the first people to get a rule change used AGAINST US. Absoloutley no doubt at all. We will be used as an example, again, and then it will be put away for the other game. Most 6 agains against, most penalties against, worst record at the judiciary, least penalties for or very close too, bottom 4 for penalties since 2006., and I can guarantee most penalties against and least penalties for in the first 20 minutes by a LARGE MARGIN in the competition.

But hey guys, it's all just a coincidence!

We are incredibly shit this year but could you fucking imagine if more then 1 of the above happened to a souffs or roosters. It would be mayhem from the daily telegraph and the teams fans and their coaches.

Fucking hell does the NRL know what the difference between the taste of shit and honey is?

Imagine being as healthy as the storm right now... they've basically changed over their whole 17
