I was happy with our defensive effort but other than that, we weren't good. Errors, penalties, no intensity at all (especially in attack), our players were constantly getting driven back, we were always fighting to come out of our own end. We got lucky with a few calls going our way plus that no try to the sharks not getting the ball down etc.

Happy with the 2 points but tonight's performance wasn't that good.

I’ve never seen a game so actively self sabotage itself

14 errors, including a few bombed tries there, and the team just fucking picked up their jettisoned guts, shoved them back in, and defended the **** out of their line.

Everyone says you can’t go in to the grind with the Sharks, but we did and we beat them at their own game.

We made too many errors, but that was due to the Sharks intense style of play. We did very well to weather that onslaught late in the game when fatigue set in.
Our young guys would've learned a lot from that game.
