Some folks on here are complaining that we never did this or never did that. We just produced a real gutsy effort against a seasoned team with a majority of GF winners in it. Our halves are showing real confidence in each other and beginning to really gel at the right time of the year. This was the grinding win we needed to boost the young uns' self belief. Yee ha!

Wayne said some stuff about coaching in the press conference.

Some people are hard to please. What I saw was a really gutsy win from a young tearaway side up against some real fucking old hard heads of the game who play tough, dirty footy. Sometimes through the season you have to win ugly. As @ningnangnong said, these are the wins that build confidence more so than the 50 points we scored last week. I'm fucking ecstatic we won tonight.

I’ll take the win but there is plenty to improve on. So many errors and our attack looked unorganised at best.

I can’t help but think we are capable of beating anyone apart from the storm. They just pick us apart and always take every opportunity we give them.

I know right!

I guess the fact we didn't rack up 50 means we're going backwards.

Bennys just told the media that there'll be a 'no comment' on the coaching position right up until the board meets in October.

“Our attack is shit”... we put 50 points on a premiership favourite...

“Yeah, but our defence is shit and we have no “game management” to win a comp”.. we out-manouver and out defend the most experienced team in the comp who specialises in close win and gutsy semi final like games that turned up to play

Yet, our fans still arent happy

Is it possible to not penalise Moylan in that situation?

He had eyes for the ball but what he did resulted in Isaako landing on his head (no HIA needed though apparently).

The decision in the prior incident is baffling, but **** me if he was on side.
He couldn’t have been back 10 all night. If he was, might be time the NRL set up a match race with the A-League and Bolt...

I also don’t think I saw Sharon Woods use her foot to play the ball once all night.

He was way off side just standing beside the man playing the ball.....they were offside as well from the start of the set.

I would’ve been ok with the Moylan/Isaako hit being play on. But I’m also ok with plenty of totally accidental crusher tackles that get penalised, or when a player runs to the line, slips and gets hit high and the defender is penalised. I think it’s the NRL covering themselves and I get it.

Bennett will be privately happy.

14 errors, including a few bombed tries there, and the team just fucking picked up their jettisoned guts, shoved them back in, and defended the **** out of their line.

Everyone says you can’t go in to the grind with the Sharks, but we did and we beat them at their own game.

We should all celebrate by visiting the official BroncosHQ merchandise site.

Outstanding summary

Yep

If we beat the warriors we would be top 4 already. Damnn

14 errors is a lot, glad we ground it out but just because we got the W doesnt mean we cant criticize.

Last two weeks have been great though; we've shown excellence in attack and defence, just in seperate games. We just want to see it on both ends in the same 80 minutes. (ideally for 9 games straight)

Strange that after a win like that we could still end up sitting in 8th by the end of the weekend.
