Hunt and Milford...WOW!! Just fantastic games from them two. Hunts kicking game was spot on and gets better each week and Milfs running and passing, taking it to the line is perfect. Blair was again very solid as was Parker. The bench did their jobs and did them very well. Well done boys, great game.

Who else is super happy we have Boyd instead of Hoffman. He is dead average.

Oh yes. After years of drought, the creative rivers flow. Thank you Mr. Bennett (not forgetting the individuals who execute them of course).

I was simply in awe at that play.

I was simply in awe of the defence, the line movement was so much better, the tackling quality, the cover defending ...

... and our halves, simply as good as it gets in this competition bar none, and I thought Hunt's kicking game really went up to new level (at last).

This might have been the Titans, and the top teams will sorely test us, but in a way, whatever the results, this year has been so worth it, so worth the wait as I am enjoying my team play the football I have been craving for so long. YES.

I watched it over and over. Looked like it to me, and the tackle looked fine. Relative to other hits on kickers, I thought it was fine. Just bad luck for Elgey about the head clash. Unnecessary? Can't agree

It was a late high shot shoulder charge that knocked out Elgey and ruled him out of the rest of the game, I'd say he'll get a couple of weeks at least.

Just watched the replay and I can't see any shoulder charge.he has hit him late but no different to beau Scott on Thurston many times. If Elgey gets up it is not even a penalty.

The replay didn't show the shot from the right side of the field, his left arm wrapped around him, but I'm pretty sure his right arm didn't, and he hit him flush with the shoulder on the chin.

I dunno, it'll be an interesting review from the judiciary.

Greg Bird said in the Titans post match press conference, that he thought Blair should have been sent off for his hit on Elgey. When Bennett was asked about that, he basically said, "Didn't he just get back from suspension for 8 weeks?"

All we would post each week was how we needed more from this player and less from that player and wtf was with that selection coach?
