As Alec pointed out, 6-17 is fine but the backline is terrible.

We have a backrow playing wing, a bakckrow playing centre and Lachlan Maranta.

The back 5 makes it look pretty terrible. 6 onwards is the best we can do, outside of Glenn starting in the forwards.

That is a horrible team. Only positive is that Norman and Wallace are out. Why is Glenn in the centres? Why is Maranta still there? Why is Hoffman at Fullback when he has already proven that he is a better winger.

Where is Joe Bond (fullback)? Where is a geniune speedy winger like Kemp? We still have the slowest backline in the comp? Hoffman is the only one with speed.

Griffin is ****ing joke. I'm going to let down his tyres tomorrow because he has just deflated me.

Hoffman is our best attacking player at the moment. Have a look at his form in 2011 at fullback. 2012 was an anomaly.

We don't have a lot of great options at the moment. I don't know how the team could line up any better up the back.

Hodges and Glenn will be fine, Maranta is useless, but I think Oates will be fine out there.

Hoffman isn't horrible at positioning himself for bombs, so I have little worry about Oates being bombed all night.

1. Hoffman - No Norman!!!! They could put the under 20s from 2-17 and I'd be happy.
2. Oates - not a great selection but he deserves a spot in the squad.
3. Glenn - plays left side fringe inside Reed. Pretty logical inclusion to me.
4. Hodges - picks himself.
5. Maranta - meh, when we are ridiculously short on backs, I suppose he'll do.

Hoffman was always getting the 1 if Norman was dropped so no argument there really.

Who else would you put in 2 and 5?

I know. I can't believe with our season on the line the aren't throwing in a completely untested guy from Q cup (that has been in inconsistent form playing mostly at five eight) at Fullback. And no Kemp? seriously hook now is the time to bring in kemp. I don't care that he's form has been terrible, wasn't able to break into the shithouse dragons side last year and hasn't played a game of NRL in years, now was the time to play him! god!

I know. I can't believe with our season on the line the aren't throwing in a completely untested guy from Q cup (that has been in inconsistent form playing mostly at five eight) at Fullback. And no Kemp? seriously hook now is the time to bring in kemp. Great team! We just need to replace those pesky halves with some forwards, then drop hodges and hoffmen so we can bring in some forwards. Don't even try to tell me there aren't enough young forwards coming through, how Maranta gets a spot over a promising young forward is beyond me!

Relatively happy with the rest of the changes. I wonder if moving Hoffman to fullback says more about our current talks with Ben Barba than Normans poor form.

yeah i dont know who people expect on the wing or centres if not those selected? we got what we wanted, norman dropped. kahu, copley, reed, and yow yeh are injured. you're kidding me if you think kemp should get picked.

i can at least live with the fact maranta is pretty solid under the high ball. he'll be right. oates is a risk but he's shown he can handle NRL, lets hope he's been practising catching that high ball. any other untested kid isnt going to be any better.
