That happened 2 years ago and we have gone backwards. We didn’t make the 8 last year and after tonight’s result, there’s a decent chance we don’t make the 8 this year either.

Your comment is exactly what is wrong with the club. They live in the past, in what ifs, and don’t focus on the now. The only player in our team who has won a comp is Reynolds and that was more than 10 years ago. The eels were in the same position as us in 2022, the Rabbitohs in 2021 and look at them all now. It’s the same shit.
And anyone that thinks that such a player will lift the overall team up just needs to watch us play.

Watch us finish 8th to 12th year after year because we invest in flashy players who do one good thing and everyone loses their mind, while simultaneously ignoring the errors from him that cost us games like this.

That loss has cost us a top 4 chance, has pushed us from 5th down to 6th in all likelihood by the end of the round and we have tougher games coming up.

But hey, forget all that because of the one break Reece made that led to a try…

Good luck with that approach.

I’d rather the fullback on half the money that doesn’t directly cost us 2 of the Eels tries…

Maybe the rest of the money could have gone into buying an actual NRL standard second rower?

Nah, that would be crazy talk…

The worse fullback that you want would also give up the tries and he would offer way less in attack and potential

Doom and Gloom FC running rampant. I know it's the death knell for the top 4 but they weren't making it anyway with the Panthers and Warriors draw. I didn't think they played that bad. Was probably just a shock to the system that a team pushed back. Parra are good despite what their ladder position is. Extremely well coached.

It might be the best thing for them in the long run.

Barba won the Dally M in 2012 and won a comp in 2016. If that's a flash in the pan I'll take it over the shit Walsh dishes up.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone (at a Townsville casino). I’ll bet Walsh does not fade into a drug fueled spiral like one Benny B.

Let's knock this on the head ... The advantage of the set restart is quickly playing on...

If you call a penalty getting everyone to stop, then change your mind, you lose that advantage ... He ****ed up and it cost us.

He also ****ed up by "forgetting" that set restarts aren't given in a teams own 40m zone.
Yes thank you. I was at the game but surely I wasn’t the only one noticing the set restarts in the own 40. He did it heaps of times. I was wondering if I was wigging and missed a rule change. How did nobody fix that up.

The way I see it, if we won this week we would have been going into the period where we're playing Dolphins and then Storm not switched on because that's what we do when we're on a winning streak longer than a few games.

We were never winning 7 straight and equaling our longest ever win streak.

In saying that, if the wingers trusted their inside man, we would have won.

You don’t know ball and it’s clear, if you can’t see how and why Walsh is such a critical part of this football squad you need to watch a different sport. Here is an interesting stat for 2025 so it’s abit clearer for you.

No walsh had broncos at 7 games 1 win 6 losses, 14% win rate.

Now with Walsh we are at 11 games 8 wins 3 losses, 73% win rate.

This game we barely loss, a penalty here or there or a dropped ball we were winning the game and Walsh set up a try and almost won us it at the death. Big money for a big player the bloke is 23 and future of broncos football whether you like it or not.
That % actually increased when mam returned..

I do not remember this at all. I'd like to see it pointed it what part of the game it was.
