It was interesting watching Moses at the game. The bloke was absolutely everywhere. If it wasn’t happening on his side, he’d dart over to the other side for a play and then go back.

His kicks were sweet every time he booted it in the air. You could just see it.

He was on from the moment he got on the field. We weren’t.

Parra will dangerous once their young players get more experience in a few years, Ryles looks like a good coach. Having said that we have no excuses losing to them only player who makes their team from theirs is Moses and Lomax and Paulo we are better everywhere else

Just watching Staggs efforts again .
It's just so annoying. We had to bring the ball out from our end so often and he walks toward the wing.
Fair enough to have a quiet game if the play isn't coming your way but to choose not to participate when what he brings in his ability to shrugg defenders off and get a quick ptb is not good enough.
We needed him to get in and lead tonight.
He really let the side down.

Just before the Hetherington try ... Then just before the Billy try
He was doing the waving arm on turnovers. This one for Hetherington try was after Parra lose the ball and Walsh collected it.

We got 5x six agains awarded in the game as per the NRL stats, all are listed in this play by play, and all are inside attacking 40. (I just watched them)

https://www.nrl.com/draw/nrl-premiership/2025/round-21/broncos-v-eels/

Click on play by play tab and you can see when the 6 agains were given.

The ones inside our 40, he actually gave nothing for, he's waving his arm to signify the start of our set after a turnover. It looks exactly the same wave of the arm as an infringement 6 again, but no bell goes off, and they weren't counted by the NRL as infringement 6 agains. It just happens that we easily could have got penalties on some of these, as the one before Hetherington, Walsh is absolutely held down, but nothing was given at all.

Todd is shit, but he wasn't incorrectly giving 6 agains in our own 40, he was simply giving nothing for things he probably should have. He did **** up that one on 71 mins by awarding a penalty and then realising it should have been a 6 again.

Talty should be in the 17 for mine. With the games remaining, we have to play teams with bigger bodies & Talty could be very handy.

Though I have nothing against Goski, I question his position in the 17. I get that he’s there as a backup to our 11/12 but we could also rely on Patty/Xman if the need be. Going forward, our bench & its use is vital. Reckon BTK has reinjured his foot so when he’s ready, I would love to have him on the bench.

I would love to have
Billy,
Xman,
Talty/Kobe/BTK &
Talty/BTK/Kobe.

Angry Season 3 GIF by The Office

MyFriday so has been awful & weekend is going to be fooked too. That performance was disappointing.

We as fans knew from our last game against Tits that we should come out of the gates flying n the back of bye to give Para no chance. And we knew that they’ve been playing decent footy the last few weeks. HOW COME THE PLAYERS THEMSELVES & OUR COACHING STAFF NOT KNOW THIS?

Seriously, what do they all do in a bye week? Do they not pay any attention to how the ladder keeps changing weekly? Had we turned up, we may have still got a chance to finish in top 4.

Like I said, playing shit for two months but scraping through for wins has been detrimental. Well played losses 4 weeks ago would have been better for our season long term, instead we thought we were on a heater and get done by a team we should have beaten by 50.

If we turn up, we win.
If we don’t turn up but with stupid errors, we won’t win.
You want us to turn up but loose? I don’t get your logic. How can the losses aid our ladder position?

I hope that you’re well aware that A win is a win & 2 competition points only. No bonus points if we win by 30+ or 50+.

What's people's thoughts on Arthurs, I think he doesn't offer enough for how long he has been in the NRL, definitely gone off the boil in the last 2 months.

Also you just watch our attack and it just doesn't fill you with the thought that we are going to put a score on teams, we just basically wait for individual brilliance from players.

Horrible loss that one, not so much the performance etc but feel it definitely ends the top 4 chances and all of a sudden (if games go to current seed) we could only scrape into the 8!

Never seen a Broncos team so disinterested in a game. The biggest disappointment after that game is knowing we’re no where near good enough to win the comp this year.

Our right hand defence is heart attack material. In fact the way they strolled over on the left too proves our defensive coaching staff are in need of a refresh.

Defence wins GFs and we are so far off the pace where a simple error or six again usually means the opposition scores.

We must have the worse record of being able to defend a mistake.

I’ve praised Shiba all year but when he put that ball down at towards the end it sort of summed up his night.

Did Piakura play last night?
Can anyone tell why Xman’s legs tackle was deemed a penalty and put on report?

That was probably our best 17 last night. I don't think anyone played particularly poorly, beyond Walsh being Walsh, Hunt dialing it in and Reyno fading into the sunset.

Unfortunately, the better team won.

I'm struggling to compute that.

Mate that's is just bollocks. Winning ugly is still 2 points and doesn't mean the coach can't see where we were bad.
Well played losses would see us in 12th or worse.

3rd man in tackle hitting below the knees with force.
Paulo milked it though.
