Broncos to be given chance after chance to win the game, but they will shit the bed and lose.

Roosters by 4.

Robinson has all but confirmed JWH will not be fit for this game.

It's just lateral ligament, but it won't be ready in 5 days time.

We're playing shit, but have people here been paying attention to the rorters this year? They've been diabolical. If we lose this game it'll be our most humiliating defeat of all time.

If we half ass it like we did on Friday the Roosters will beat us. If we show some fucking effort we have enough in the tank to beat them.

Hopefully Hunt continues his good form against the Roosters.

He has a tendency to lift against them. Scored 5 tries in the last 4 games against them.

JWH will likely be missing for this game, as well.

Hunt needs to improve his short kicking game as does Milford. They ought to watch any number of class acts. I'd start with Cam Smith and Cronk. Our halves are sod ordinary as a halves pairing doing what haves ought to be doing - like short kicking for support runners, and putting back rowers over for tries off short passes.

If Gillett doesn't play we are in trouble defensively on our right edge big time;

If Glenn is not in the back row, we are fucked on the left, and Milford's game will be ordinary again;

I hope Maranta and Oates have learned how not to get pushed/pulled back into our in-goal area - there will be a lot of kicks coming their way.

Personally i think our forwards need to pass before the line, sucking in a few defenders in the process.

We're not a big enough pack to punch through the opposition, se we need to move them around a bit at the line ..... support every ball carry and play some little short passes to hopefully find gaps in their defensive line.

Hunt and Milf then need to play off the back of that .....

I reckon the Chooks have looked better the last few weeks, think they are on the way back and unfortunately we look like we're still falling... I'll be very surprised if we win this

Pretty sure Gillett was training with the squad this morning(not with the light duties squad) so he'll be back this week hopefully. If we loose moose and Thaiday does that mean Ese ese' and Su'a ? Kodi might be back too which mean Opacic should start?

Herman not training today; only got back from Barcaldine yesterday afternoon.

And I thought that I and Bullshark were the supposed kings of the pessimists

Come on guys have a little faith!

If the team hasn't been playing like they'd lose against Newcastle lately, there would be reason for a little faith. Unfortunately, I reckon even NSW would pummel us at the moment.

For this game, i think it will be something like:

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Opacic
4. Roberts
5. Maranta
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. Wallace
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Glenn
12. Gillett
13. Parker (c)

14. Arrow
15. Pangai Jr
16. Sua
17. Eseese

Wondering now that Wallace is leaving, should Eseese or TPJ start. Most likely we are not going to get a miracle this year and we need to start building for next year (still think we can compete for the rest of this year though) I think those 2 can do just as good as a job, maybe just shorter stints. We need Glenn back in his normal spot because we need a centre at centre and Opacic gets the nod i say. I would have Sua on the bench as he is a forward that could play centre if needed and can also give us high minutes if injury continues to plague us.

When the camera flashed to Wayne in the coaches box last Friday night he looked WORRIED - like he didn't know how to fix this situation.

Normally he has a poker face no matter the situation. But his body language screamed worried on Friday night. Not good.

This week, I'd go:

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Opacic
4. Roberts
5. Allan (I rate this kid a LOT)
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. Joffa
9. Macca
10. Blair
11. Glenn
12. Gillett (Su'A if Gillett is not fit)
13. Parker

14. Pangai Jr
15. Wallace
16. Arrow
17. Fai

My rationale for the two controversial spots are that we need someone other than Maranta on a wing, he is useless, we all know it. Anyone could do a better job than him and Allan has a HUGE future. And anyway, if not him, give a Seve, Anderson, Isaako, Faiud, whoever a go. They won't do any worse than Maranta and more importantly, they will be pumped and goodness me this team needs a dose of enthusiasm.

This rationale is echoed in the choice of Fai. The guy is a wrecking ball and has the ability to fire up for his second stint just as much as his first. That enthusiasm could well rub off on the other players out there. These selections won't turn our season around but they may well just help put the boys back in the right head space to see how much the jersey means to so many.

I say it too in the game. channel 9 camera was on wayne, then broncos made error in play. The way wayne react was very disappointed on the team.
