Sydney Roosters 32
defeat
Brisbane Broncos 16

I would rather watch our 20s players run around in first grade at the moment
they actually might give a shit

If the nail wasn't already in the coffin, it is now.

It's impossible to win from here now. Our season is done.

Time to look on for 2017.

The only positive is I won some money. Dragons are paying real well for a win next week. Get on it now guys.

No more excuses either. No thaiday and no macguire? Yet wallace and sua played just as well as they would have.... so whats going wrong.. refs were bad tonight too

no point in focusing on negatives its all we have done for last 6 weeks. lets talk positives

i actually think our foward stocks look good for future. every young block tonight in our team was probably best on park for us. i really didnt notice the loss of mgquire or thaiday at all

TPJ looked strong. Herman had a few nice runs also. I found myself screaming at the TV for us to at least attempt to get a repeat set. It came down to something like 8-0 in that facet of the game. I had an 18 hour day and that performance honestly makes it hard to get up tomorrow. I thought Ben Hunt, while he was very average tried his heart out for the team and I respect him for that. The best we can do now is start planning for next year. Give Herman and TPJ some more game time. I couldn't give two *****.

This is the worst I've felt about the side since Canberra did us 56 blot and ousted Henjak. We're a shallow, weak minded, disinterested rabble at the moment. The errors are a disgrace as well as our kicking. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see one of either Milford or Hunt come out in the off season and say "I don't want to be here anymore.". Because they sure as hell are playing like they don't wanna be here.

I look at our players at the moment and I see a bunch of posturing turkeys who thought they would shit the premiership in. Now the pointy end of the season is here, there are no leaders to keep them motivated so they coast along relying on somebody else to win the game for them. Very, very poor and a shame to the jersey.

Jai Arrow - 10 runs for 74 metres.

Yeah, he was a better option than Wallace.

Outplayed and out coached.

Hunt has to go. That bloke is fucking legless. He has the worst kicking game of any half in the NRL. At this level we need repeat sets. He hasn't got the skill set. **** him off.

Parker has been rubbish for a month
Wallace was ok.
Blair was ok.

Bennett deserves to be dragged across the coals for his insistence on picking Maranta. This is the one time he should start listening to the fans.

How many repeat sets did we get? Big fat zero.

Well, at least we are getting better. 32-16(22) is an improvement.

The young blokes played really well, and I wouldn't be unhappy if they kept their spots next week.

Hunt and Milf tried hard, but their execution was off once again.
Add in all the mistakes and 75/25 calls, and the freak Rooster plays coming off, and there you go.

But having said that, a side playing better football would have overcome all of that and made it at least more competitive.

While the referees didn't cost the Broncos the game ... the double movement call to deny the Broncos a try is one of the worst call of the season ...

Tevita Pangai couldn't have stopped himself from landing in the in goal if he wanted to after two Roosters players pulled him into the in goal.
Hell, even Gould who hates the Broncos more than any other person on the planet was saying what a disgrace the decision was.
The standard of refereeing in the NRL is the worst in professional sport, world wide. it so so bad you have to stop and think whether it is just incompetence on their part or something more sinister.

Yet, every week we endure these disgraceful decisions from the officials, and as fans we have had enough. We pay our hard earned money to go and watch these games, only to have our experience tarnished by this substandard officiating.

If the NRL want to turn away so many fans to the point that their game is worth a fraction of what it is today, they are certainly going the right way about it ...
end rant

And James Roberts needs to forget about more speed on Oxford street and worry about tackling numptys like Copley.

I'm done watching this junk. It spoils my mood every week. I'd rather watch my missus team The Panthers - at least they play some exciting footy.

Jai Arrow - 10 runs for 74 metres.

Yeah, he was a better option than Wallace.

Jarrod Wallace when he started last week had 6 runs for 50 metres, so yeah, I agree.
