A chunk of Niu's training should consist of Milf putting up those wicked bombs for him, every day. Probably Milf's best skill these days.
And Herbie has shown what ?I see what you are doing there but the reality is, Niu is proving himself to be another Isaako, or in other words, not good enough.
What's the point....
An elite power running game but allergic to passing. And Herbie has shown what ?
Only if he kicks them from across the river at Davies Park.A chunk of Niu's training should consist of Milf putting up those wicked bombs for him, every day. Probably Milf's best skill these days.

Cool, sounds like he’d be a good soccer player.Instinct, speed, great acceleration, footwork, good defence and size, plus he is a quality goal kicker
Worth a shot

…can he learn to pass in the off season? Asking for a friend because he could be top shelf
Don't agree with the great defense but the describes a great winger, not fullback. Niu is a fullback Farnworth isn't, why try and manufacture one. If Niu doesn't turn into the fullback that we want then go to the market, let Herbie become the winger we have needed.Instinct, speed, great acceleration, footwork, good defence and size, plus he is a quality goal kicker

Yep , would be a great right edge.Still wouldn't mind trying him at fullback, but I think with Brenko Lee next year he should go to wing, he will be able to use his pace much better there, our left gets really shit ball and his skills are wasted.
You have him next to Staggs and that is a lethal right edge.

I'm happy to let him trial at fullback but I just don't see it . As for centre we have cobbo and mariner coming through who are actual centers. I think Herbie can thrive on the wing because all the skills your on about us perfectly suited for a winger. Can't agree. A waste of skills.
Herbie is 1st or 2nd amongst our players in NRL line breaks, tackle breaks, run metres, post-contact metres, most runs. The only other is of course Payne Haas. As well, he is one of "better" players in missed tackles, way ahead of Turpin and Gamble.
Sounds like he's worth a shot at FB or stay in the centres with Staggs.
