Asides from the fucked refereeing, this was a good performance by the Broncos. At least, good compared to some of the dire efforts over the last two years. I think we've been more consistent over the back end of the season so I'm hopeful 2022 will turn out better.
As long as we don't play the Storm, Panthers and Parra twice within the first six rounds anyway. Can't rule that out.

The way I see it, the results don't really matter much anymore. What matters is how much improvement the Broncos show. That was pretty good outside a few shit areas (because the Broncos technically are still a shit side). A win would have been better for morale, but a loss means they might actually have a chance to win next week.

Deadset, can you actually legitimately challenge that call? Him dropping the ball as he is playing it is the start of the next play. That's why the ref calls the tackle count. They cannot go back a play to check the previous play on a challenge. Or can you challenge any play in the set?

Why were they reviewing that part of the play anyway?
He dropped the ball trying to play it... the challenge should only be allowed to review the play the ball as the ruck was complete.
