Why should we be excited for next year? We have been the better team numerous times this year and because of phantom six agains and shit ref decisions the opposition have been kept in the game. Why do we think that's going to change in 2022?
If nothing else, we’ll have an experienced halfback and leader who can nail some of these big moments.

A lot of coaches could too - this bloke cries the blues and makes all kinds of cynical remarks about referees every other week.. just imagine the performance he would’ve put on after last night View attachment 14616

Meanwhile in today's press, Joel Gould is stirring the pot, quoting Tallis and everyone else who threw a tanty on Twitter over the deciding penalty, appealling to the basest element.

Number 1 Broncos fan Peter Badel called our effort "seriously promising," and says the team is "finally singing from the same hymn sheet. They are running harder. Tackling harder. Their line-speed is sharper in defence and there is more certainty and shape in attack." He says the Broncos were "arguably the better team," and "played with more energy, but when it mattered most." He quoted Walters' mature response.

Profound comments, no one else would ever be able to think of them, inspirational writing, just a shame he won’t understand it himself.

Because we have not really had the xfactor players on the field to turn a game in a moment. If Staggs is fit and with Reynolds calling shots I think we will have many more moments to break games open despite the Refs. You need big moment players now more than ever.

The official call will be something like the on-field ref referred "a" challenge to the video ref, which then meant the video ref at their own discretion could scrutinise the entire play, leading them to spotting the high contact.

He wouldn’t know because he wrote it.
If you're really struggling to understand what I was saying about journalists maybe you're qualified to become one. I mean what else can you do with your degree?

Woke up pretty angry this morning.
The NRL is bad for my blood pressure.

Was hoping for a lot more backlash to that last call this morning.

People just expect this circus now, happens every other game I’m sure. League had just become an irrelevant competition that few care about anymore.

So to clear a few things up.

It was an incorrect play the ball that stopped the play.
The challenge was for a head high on Sitili Tupouniua
Klein deemed that the play was still live because Butcher never played the ball.

And if Sitili doesn’t doesn’t duck his head, contact would be across the chest, which is coincidentally where his hand makes contact…

Flegler definitely has a penalty in him, but he simply cannot stop someone dropping their face down into the path of his arm.
