POST GAME [Round 22, 2022] Broncos vs Knights

I have a bigger concern with the put down. No angle showed him getting it down, hard to confirm with so few looks.

I don't get what people were expecting from Turpin. I thought he did his role.
He shovelled the ball out, made his tackles - including some big hits, and he didn't do anything dramatically stupid.
Sure his service was poor and he had zero attacking threat from dummy half but we knew that. Some would say I have low expectations, and they'd be right, he is our 3rd choice dummy half now and getting let go by the club next year so the club and coach see it too. He's just plugging a hole while paix returns to form in reserves, paixs poor was very poor defensively and that's our priority at the moment.

If Turpin needs to play (I wouldn't be against no 2nd dummy half until paix improves mind you) then I'd be playing him 20 mins with someone else going to dummy half in the opposition 20m (sounds crazy but maybe even Reynolds and mam, at least in the 4th and 5th plays) and the instruction for the outside backs to increase their dummy half runs in that period. Have him there purely for defence and hopefully with less workload his service improves...

I have looked at that Dolphins squad

1. Isaako
6. Milford

Have they learned nothing?
Thing is with Wayne, he will be looking at that and seeing the raw talent and thinking to himself that it's the coaches fault these guys are playing bad, and totally back himself to get them playing at their best.
Whether that's realistic confidence or arrogance bordering on delusion, I guess we shall have to wait and see.

Knights playmaker Anthony Milford faces a $3,000 fine for his shoulder charge offence on Broncos prop Ryan James.

Flegler never got charged.

Cop that Milf. I'm going to call that a $3000 fine for diving rather than the shoulder charge.

He can think like that but I am seeing Isaako went to the Titans and can barely crack their first grade squad, Milford is the best half at Newcastle and they can barely win a game behind what I would consider to be a decent pack

Have not seen any footage of us signing the team song after the win. I’m interested to see the levels of (or lack of) excitement around the team.

But we seriously miss Paddy’s physical and vocal presence in the middle. Thanks goodness he’s back for the st merge game.

They've explained many times the cameras the bunker has/uses are different to what Fox/Ch 9 show

It would be better if they live streamed what the bunker is looked at but to be fair the bunkers use many cameras at the same time, that are time sync'd

I think if we win 2 of our last 3, that'd be a good way to end the regular season

If we can roll Melbourne this week we are a real chance to win all 3 games

They've explained it many times and I still don't believe it. As if this stupid organisation is going to spend money on something extra. We see what they see.

Annesley says the obstruction on Reynolds was not a black and white decision as literally everyone (including Ennis) said

backs the bunker because under the rules the bunker has "discretion" to decide that Reynolds won't be able to stop the try

and we wonder why Milking penalties is in the game, 9/10 times that would be a penalty, them being close enough to the defender hasn't been the full criteria, the only time I can recall that the bunker overruled it was when Hughes tried to milk an obstruction when he was lightly grazed and they said he was milking.

I do agree though if they can be consistent then that try can stand, but watch how less gets called up because they milked it.

Love your graphic work SF! What do you call this effect, where it kind of looks like the image has been taken out of a magazine and scanned? I've described it terribly, but you must get what I mean!

Do you mean when you see those faint lines in an image that are slightly different colour? It sounds like you're describing the moire pattern effect.

Just did the re-watch. Game wasn't as terrible as I thought in real time.

We just had literally everything and anything go against us, as well as a bad case of the dropsies.

We actually attacked and defended fairly well when things clicked.

A frustrating game but it wasnt a 15th vs 16th affair, we were comfortably the better team. Just a shitty game for us.

I think because everyone expected us to come out and put them to the sword. So in that aspect it was disappointing. Also the both commentary teams kept harping on about it. So naturally they drive the narrative and peoples thoughts.

As you said the errors killed us really. That's all it comes down to. If it was a dry track we would've pumped them easily.

Regardless we never looked like losing. Realistically the Knights were never in it at any point.

Casey Badger is a fucking awful ref, that’s how she came up with it.
Probably got a huge heads-up on how easy it is to make money from the NRL as a ref. Old Gavin paving the road for his Mrs.

Is it Ben Day dots?

If you search "How to add Retro Matchbook Print effects" or "Comic book effects" on YouTube, you should find it.
