POST GAME [Round 22, 2022] Broncos vs Knights

Was he? Paix has been extremely disappointing this year.
My recollection is that we were looking our best when Billy started at hooker for the first 20 or so, with Paix coming on after that and giving us the extra spark out of dummy half. Whenever he would come on, we suddenly looked much better in attack with better go forward. I agree that none of them really standout and Paix hasn't been great since the return from injury.

Just watching the replay on Kayo - Reynolds should have taken a dive on the Best try. How Badger came up with that decision is baffling. Also, Capewell copped a hit around the chops cleaning up the ball right on full-time but that’s ok, apparently.

Just on the Gagai comments, I reckon this is one of the most damning statements on O'Brien. Gags looked a world beater last year and wasn't bad even in origin this year, albeit not a patch on his old self but at club land, he has been woeful. I reckon he must regret going to that club, they are a rabble.

Watching TMM you can see the difference he makes in this side.
On the goal line defending Tesi would hold his position behind Ruck/A defender TMM would go behind the ruck or A defender and drop back and slide go with the ball which allows him to be in the right place to try stop a try.
I'm hoping Walsh next season can replicate this.

It’s amazing that the talk was no one wanted to come to the broncos when we had two awful years under Seibold. Yet somehow the knights have been a basket case for as long as I remember but players kept going there.

I just can't believe the coach hasn't been punted. That side is stacked with talent and yet they are perennial also rans.

I guarantee you there are a few Knights fans somewhere feeling good that the club didn't put the future success of the team on Anthony Milford's ability to control the game

Just watched the game. Thought our defence was pretty good, we only let one try in, the other should've been an obstruction penalty. Our attack was the issue and I'm putting that down to the greasy conditions and Turpin. Seriously Turpin was putrid. Hopefully Paix is back next week.
Paix, Pereira, Niu and Albert Kelly featured in the Magpies loss to the Dolphins this afternoon.

Mam would have to be making a late push for Rookie of the Year.

He won't win it ahead of Nanai and May, but it's a credit to how good he's been since he has come in. He still has a lot to work on, that much is clear, but he's providing plenty of spark and that's what you want from your 5/8.

Casey Badger is a fucking awful ref, that’s how she came up with it.
