Round 22 - Broncos vs Warriors - Build Up Thread

So all 3 teams that won today are teams we still have to play. Makes our run into the finals look pretty tough.

Which makes winning this game even more important.

An understatement.

I reckon the Warriors are the sleepers in this competition and they're making their run at the right time. Their 6 & 7 are playing fantastic football, as is their FB. Their forwards are running rampant ATM, power and offloads. The whole team is focused and determined.

Win this and the Broncs prove they are truly capable of winning this premiership.

Warriors are the most over-rated "premiership sleepers" of the last few years ... or to put it another way - they're the most over-rated under-rated team in the comp ;-)

IMO, folks get too carried away with the fact they're a big and imposing looking side etc ... But they always get found out and come up short against the genuine premiership threats (their game against Melbourne a few weeks ago said a lot about where they're at imo) .. Having said that, they do tend to give the broncos fits and I reckon that'll be the case again on saturday ..

If the Warriors finish 8th they'll probably beat Melbourne.
They're one of the few teams that knows how to knock them off.

i wish they'd stop posting broken ins & outs videos every week hah

someone has posted on the fb page that the only change from last week is TEO in and HALA out.

strong.

same Team except Hala out Teo in.

*Video works fine in Chrome*

Oh man I was so sure gagai would get a game...

Don't stress lads. Reed's not fast enough so he won't be in the centers for long anyway.

Last three posts add nothing besides have an underhanded dig at a poster you all don't agree with. Do your job Mods.

Last post adds nothing except complaining about the post before it.

On topic : Great to see Teo back!

When I was a mod, we hated it when people told mods how to do their job. Just sayin'

Oh well, I will get back on topic now and say that hopefully Te'o gets through uninjured this time!!

Good to see te'o back in the side, hopefully his arm doesn't break again. All the pieces are falling into place for a strong finish to the season IMO.

Just need reed to be faster and we would be all set..

Agree. I really hope he hasn't come back a week too soon again. If he breaks it again, that's it for the year. Also think he could've done with another week in Q Cup to get the cobwebs out. But, I do trust Hook's judgment.

Paul Green gave a glowing report of him from the weekend. I can't see him playing long minutes for us this year with our current structure so it will be nice to have some further impact off the bench. However, with the mindset that comes with playing limited minutes, self preservation may not be on Te'o's agenda. He might need a little word in his ear just to ensure his arm lasts the season.

Green did also say he thinks he could use another week in Q Cup for match fitness.

He's taken the last bench spot that this season has traditionally played 15-20 minutes a game at best. I doubt hook will want to change his rotation strategy so I'm not sure match fitness is of much concern.
