Will be a very tough match.

I want to win by 30 again :)

We have to shut their second phase down, or we might be in for a long night. Should be a good battle of the forwards though...

They always play jungle ball against us and it always seems to work. We are deadset the worst at trying to shut down the ball and strings of offloads, not just against them either.

We better win, if we do we wont come lower than 5th, lose and we could go to 7th maybe

Don't know what you're on about.

No matter what happens even if every result goes against us for the next 2 weeks and we lose both games we still won't be lower than 5.

It would take a drastic turn around for us to be below 5th.

If the Cowboys lose this weekend and we win next weekend then I would say(providing we beat the Cows in Rd23) we are guaranteed a top 4 spot.

I think Jeza was referring to after Round 26. Warriors are best chance to pass us should results go a bit nutty over last rounds of the comp.

Still looking very much like a Broncos vs Cowboys final first week...hopefully at home.

The Warriors have been smashing **** teams recently, I'll be watching closely how they play on Sunday.

An understatement.

I reckon the Warriors are the sleepers in this competition and they're making their run at the right time. Their 6 & 7 are playing fantastic football, as is their FB. Their forwards are running rampant ATM, power and offloads. The whole team is focused and determined.

Win this and the Broncs prove they are truly capable of winning this premiership.

Correct good sir that is what I was referring too! Thanks for clarifying my somewhat unspecific post :p

One of the things we have to do is, Shut down Big Manu

And marking him will be Yow Yeh, who went poorly when faced with the same task last year. Makes me wonder if it might be worth him defending at left centre and Reed on the right wing to get some size up against Vatuvei.

Yow yeh should be able to do the job IMO.

My main interest in this game is to see whether our stuttering, inconsistent attacking structure will continue to develop and we score points from that, as opposed to points from kicks and individual brilliance. As I see it that is the one issue the Broncos need to establish - that they can score points from creative team plays against a class team rather than against a team playing schoolboy footie like the Sharks. We failed against the Storm. This is the next real test.

We just need to keep wining, playing the Cowboys in Townsville isn't that appealing to me..

We just need to show we can score points against the top teams at the business end of the season. So far it is 0 out of 1 (Storm). This match is test number 2.

Watching the warriors now, we need to really defend well I feel. It will be a massive test for us. Warriors are the sleeping giant.

Well they have actually woken up. The Raiders can vouch for that.

One problem has been how shallow the attacking line is meaning no one gets the ball at full pace.
