Tigers should have dropped Anasta and Marshall, they've been seriously shit lately.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Brooks added in as a late addition. Hopefully he's given a game too, maybe too early for him to play first grade but the kid has shown plenty of promise. Not only does he have the talent, he also has the means to make a great half.

If given the choice, I'd give Braith the flick. I actually like Anasta as a guy, but his days as an NRL player are well and truly over.

Second thoughts about Parra not winning another game this year now that Hayne is supposedly back. They play a lot better with he is on the field.

There's no current player I enjoy watching when at their best more than Jarryd Hayne (SJ is a close 2nd). He doesn't get much love from QLDers and everyone sees Parra's record and assume he is shit. I still think as far as natural talent goes he is in the top 5 players going. I would love to see him playing in a decent team.

Watching the Storm's wingers is poetry in motion.

Give them a smidge of space and they find a way to the line :thumbup1:

Before last week, Fonua was possibly the worst player in the comp. He's still pretty ordinary, certainly no poet.

Yeah, Bellamy dropped his arse and he's come back better for it.

2 from 2 in tipping. Woot

Strange game.

At 12-0 down, it was like Souths realised it was 2013 and that they're still a good team. They still made some bad errors, but a lot of that came down to them playing impatient footy. Had they started stronger, I reckon they could have really troubled Melbourne in Melbourne.

Storm didn't do anything special but played well enough to earn the biccies. What I like about their play is their swift interchange of passing and the variation of the lines. It's all very rehearsed but the execution, especially from Cronk is a real marvel.

On the Storm's wingers. What do you guys make of Cameron Smith's supposed claim that Sisa Waqa is a top 5 winger?

Fonua hasn't improved at all. He's always been capable of the odd freak play...but he's also guilty of making some really basic and costly errors.

I'd say Fonua is a QCup level player but he stuffs it up there too.

That's one of the most offensive things I've read on here. :glare:

Fonua is exceptionally overrated IMO. Sure he carved the Raiders, but he's way too hit and miss.

An odd game. A fair bit of dirty play from both sides I thought. Would love to see them come up against each other at full strength. How they didn't at least go to the vid ref for that Waqa try I'll never know.....

Mahe Fonau is just lucky he plays for the Storm he would be on the bench or in QLD or NSW cup if he played at another club.

Melbourne won the game in the first 10 minutes when they got out to an early lead, you can't beat the Storm if you give them a head start. Thought Souths gave them a decent game though as Melbourne didn't put them away till the last 10 minutes.
