Round 22 Discussion

That was an amazing 40/20 from DCE.

Manly were in all sorts.

Now how do they screw it up?

EDIT: A pretty dumb switch play from Foran with no room will do it. Manly had little momentum anyways.

The referees are a real lottery these days, hey?

Have no idea what the Manly defender was supposed to do with Keary. You can almost put yourself in that position to try and snare a cheap penalty. Completely inconsistent with the Hoffman non-penalty last week where Sene-Lafeo hit him with a crusher.

Souths scored not long after that off their trademak shift to GI which eventually saw Johnstone cross to seal the match.

No Try Souths.

I thought they could have given that. Seemed like one of those incidents where the ref said No Try for a completely different circumstance and that was used to over-turn it on a different call.

Still, it was justice because there was a huge forward pass from Luke to Sam Burgess in the lead up.

As I type that, DCE is dragged over the sideline and Burgess runs off an inside pass to score a powerful try.

7 minutes remaining.

Reynolds puts the cherry on top with an easy field goal.

Souths finished the game very well.

Still have room to improve but that was a quality performance. Can definitely envision them as premiers.

Newcastle have been doing a number on the Storm lower grades.

Won the NYC 38-0.

Currently winning the NSW Cup 36-6 against the Sharks/Storm hybrid team.

Wonder if it's their day or just a sign of their depth?

In fairness to the Storm NYC side, they were missing a lot of key talent either to QCup/NSW Cup duty or just injury.

Storm already lead by 12 points.

Knights handed Melbourne their second try too for an easy intercept try to Waqa.

Knights defence is looking very shoddy. Better set right there but it was about as boring as it could be.

Houston scores

Knights throw the ball around and find space down the right flank where the Storm always look sketchy.

The Storm are so slick. I hate them. To the Knights credit they are having a crack but their defence is horrid

Should be a try to Roberts.

One of the most ridiculous put downs I've seen.

Newcastle should receive something for Cronk deliberately taking out one of their players.

Chambers scores what should be the sealer for the Storm.

24-16 Melbourne.

Came off a great bomb from Cronk which young Sione Mata'utia put down and a weak effort from Leilua in defence.

Cronk is dominating. He is in top form

Sneaky try from dummy half there to Gagai.

10-3 penalty count to Newcastle.

Can't wait to watch Parramatta play Canberra later on there is every chance it's going to be a spicy contest and the fact that the game is in Darwin is good as it's spreading the game across the country and making more aware.

Cooper Cronk is killing it atm, if he continues this form Storm are a good shot at the title.

Chambers has given Leilua a bath tonight.

Waqa with 4 tries, he joins Geyer, Moule, Slater & Webster as joint record holder for most tries by a Storm player in a single game.

Wow, Slater just got pantsed big time.

I'll be as spicy as chilli dominating your butthole. Raiders failure will be known throughout all of Australia.

No way!

Uate scores right on the siren.

Kidley kicking for the game.
