I'm happy for Hoffman to sit this one out, three weeks off hopefully has him fit and ready to go for a run into the finals. The missed tackle count doesn't disturb me too much, however the lack of desire required to cover and scramble was a real worry.

Last sentence from Alex Glenn in this article confirming that hook is telling the halves to run the ball instead of pass. Why??? it's not working, so why keep doing it?

Norman should not be lumped with anything other than running the ball this season. I expect more of Wallace however.

The comment has most likely being taken out of context. Hook most likely wants the halves to run the ball because it puts the defense in 2 minds. The problem is they run one out like they are props.

It's his 3rd season in the NRL, admittedly his first full time one but he still is a professional rugby league player in a key position. He needs to step up to the role, it's not an internship.

I have been one of Hooks biggest supporters but am seriously having my doubts about him recently. And if what Glenn said is true then that is just ridiculous, that is under 8's coaching. FFS we are becoming more and more pathetic.

If Hook actually said that and meant it like it sounds, he should be sacked.

Seriously. Is there anyone else in the world that thinks the Broncos halves need to run the ball MORE? Maybe Macca should try diving other on the 5th tackle more often also. And maybe when the halves are somehow unable to run they should pass it to Hoffman so he can run it. Game winning plan there Hook.
