That kick that went dead was not on Reynolds. You can't predict how it bounces. It's just typical Storm luck that they come up smelling of roses. He tries to catch it, he drops it 90% of the time, it was a great kick. It's 50/50 which direction it bounces, if it comes back we have players steaming through, it literally could have been 18-12 half time score.

I'd say we are a good hooker and pat Carrigan away from being more competitive. The thing is storm have had so much ball that you cannot stop them from scoring.

That’s our own fault. We become morons against the storm. Dropping balls, kicks flying over the dead ball line. It’s the same story every time.

We are really missing Gamble’s aggro. I don’t get why psychological warfare isn’t a part of the game. You need a person to piss off the opposition and hopefully creating mistakes. That’s why I think Gamble’s impact is most effective.

TMM has also been one of our best this half so there is that.

Ending attacking raids by conceding 7 tackle sets is such a morale killer. I don’t remember Milford conceding this many.

The James experiment failed but you could have cloned Rhino and it wouldn't have made a difference, the Broncos defence is extremely soft and you can only make so many cover tackles before the quality teams find you out.

Melbourne just have better direction, work harder in defence and do everything at pace. Brisbane have improved tremendously but there's only so much improvement that can be made and the roster still needs some work.

Moving forward, Brisbane just can't allow this game to get ugly. If they allow 50+ things can go south in a hurry.
