It just depends on what shapes the refs want to dictate out there in their ‘management’ of the game shape.

please ... when they're playing us, they are more likely to get penalised for clean ruck play and backward passes than their grubbiness

I hate how teams can just professionally foul when up by 4 in the last minute to defend a leave. That has to be the 4th time I’ve seen it this season.

Not sure how you can fix it except to bin on every penalty in this circumstance

I think Manly got more than the rub of the green there. Klein is fast becoming a cancer on our game. He dead set ruined what could have otherwise been a red hot cracker of a game with some of his bogus penalties and sheer inconsistency.

When are the journos going to recognise how the majority of the league supporters are rapidly switching off from this once great game.

I know Weidler mentioned the drastic fall in tv viewers, but there needs to be more of an uproar in the media to alert the NRL that their ship is holed and sinking.

This is a 2 team competition, and it's incredibly damaging for the game.

Especially when they’re two of the least supported sides. At least if the broncos and the dogs or eels were dominating you’d see 45k+ crowds in Brisbane and 35k+ in Sydney weekly.
