Nah he plays left so it’ll be IsaakoMarking up against sivo?
Well look at the bright side, maybe Herbie or Perese will get a spot in the 17, and Kennedy for Flegler.

Good to see Bird back at training, should be fully fit by the start of next season, 10kg lighter and ready to be our long-term Fullback [emoji102]

I've liked what I've seen from Kennedy in his limited games. He is no fuss, but you need them type of blokes. He is a very big body also. Why would Glenn have to shift back to the pack to cover Ofa/Flegler? Wouldn't we just bring in Kennedy and Fensom? We still have heaps of fit middle-forwards on our depth chart.
I've been relatively happy with him too, though it did strike me as an odd purchase to make mid-season as we didn't and arguably still don't need another young prop.I've liked what I've seen from Kennedy in his limited games. I wish he had played against stuffs last week. I'm happy if he gets another shot this week.
I'd let him go to be honest. That extra $750k is critical if we have a chance at a proper long term prospect in Ponga :)Hope so or is he booking a one way ticket back to Sydney?
I'm going off Ponga a little bit as it sounds like the $1.5m was a serious request from his camp.I'd let him go to be honest. That extra $750k is critical if we have a chance at a proper long term prospect in Ponga :)
So Ikin and Kent just threw Dearden and SOS in the dud bin already lol Said on 360 tonight that we're "incapable" of winning a premiership with any of our current spine players. Said we absolutely must go to market for a proven halfback and of course cited Tallis F1 car analogy.
FMD.

I think that kind of money is craziness for anyone and there's also the next TV rights deal to consider. What if the NRL don't get as much as they think they can get and the cap stops rising.
If the cap keeps going up there will be a $1.5m player but in this current cap $1.5m is suicide... and at the moment the NRL administration is not giving me a lot of confidence that they have improved the product since the last TV deal.
