This was my favourite thing on 360 for a long time and gave me the tiniest amount of respect for James Hooper.

Kent has been bleating for weeks how we have dropped the ball by signing the other 2 before Fifita. I have even tried to ring in to Triple M's Sunday show to correct him (but they won't put you through if you are contradicting the hosts). But to watch last night and see Kent bleat for 5 minutes about how we have dropped the ball by re-signing TPJ and Lodge before Fifita and seeing Hooper trying to interject repeatedly and then see him explain to Kent like he is a 5 year old that they were off contract next year so if they didn't they wouldn't be there. Then for Kent just to respond with "oh, that makes sense" made my night.

League, like politics and government, are very much the same in that we get the commentators we deserve.

What we, as a collective group, have done so unashamedly wrong to deserve the drivel we are being fed at the present time is way beyond my comrehension.

There was also a point last night that I felt was a bit contradictory.

They were rabbling on about manly and how good Dessie is doing at identifying cheaper talent to play alongside their high profile stars (turbos and DCE) and they specifically brought up Fainu saying he is going to be a superstar, but is great value to them at the moment.

To suggest that Fainu will be a superstar of the game and then not bleat on about how tough it will be for manly to retain him after signing the turbos and DCE to big money seemed bullshit to me. Considering they are going off about us trying to retain Lodge, TPJ, Turpin, Fifi and Oates

They spend hours each week going off about Broncos retention, but do they think Fainu will play out his days in Manly on $300k a year. I'm pretty sure he's coming off contract soon and Dessie will likely have him playing 80 next year. His value will absolutely sky rocket by the time he comes off contract, but no mention about how Manly will retain him with about $3-4m in 3 players.

I’m not wanting to break the law but I have seen various snippets of it on you tube which I presume is legal.
What I meant was is there somewhere you can watch the full episode after it becomes ‘stale’ ie say a couple of weeks after it is broadcast?

I was at the last home game and made that exact comment about a half dozen times. 'Remember when we had a team that actually cared about the kick chase?' Drives me nuts to see the other team make an easy 10-30 meters because our boys are too lazy to chase the ball down the field and pin the other team down there. Meanwhile, we spend most of the game trying to find the half way mark.

Well sadly the midfield bomb on the final tackle seems to be only kick in our game plan these days...... or Macca kicking on the 3rd tackle after the team being under the pump in defense to give the ball back to the opposition on their 35m line.

I am a bit torn about tomorrow. Have the day off work meaning it’s a long weekend also celebrating my birthday tomorrow, meaning it’s an ideal home game to attend. However I made a pact during the season I would not attend another game whilst Boyd is in the 17 taking the piss and I still intend to uphold that notion. Which is hard because it means I wouldn’t have attended a single game this season which is a first since I moved to Brisbane in 2011. I usually try to get to a 2-3 a season but due to work schedule didn’t make any in the first part of the season and now the Boyd saga has turned me off the second half of the season.

May come across as a butt hurt fan but the whole Boyd saga has just left a sour taste in my mouth over the season. In my head I feel like it’s my own way of individually protesting that whilst the club is playing team politics and handicapping itself by playing a player who is more interested in preserving his body to try and cruise through the remainder of his contract to collect his hefty pay check, then I am not going to put in the effort and money to get out there and attend games. I will take the Darius option of taking the easier option and watch it from the comforts of home for free. We even have his missus speaking for him and the club now by saying no matter what the fans unwarranted opinions is, he is playing no matter what. Didn’t realise Kayla selects the fucking 17 each week FFS!

If you also want a laugh, Parra are paying $2.20 and we are $1.65 favourites!!!

Considering the way Parra have treated us at Suncorp in recent times, it’s going to take a big effort to win this one. I hope for the fans sake who make the effort to turn up, that the team put on a performance and that Darius actually contributes.
