Yep. Once they left the field wr can't get any good field position. I really hope McGuire and Glenn are back soon. Our bench suffers hugely without them.

Bench players make us lose a lot of intensity. Storm will bring out a huge 2nd half here. Gotta really stay strong

In fairness, could call that try a bit of a square up. Our six again which saw Te'o score featured a very suss pass from Hannant.

Then again, they got away with a more blatant one.

Otherwise, it was a solid performance. Not as good in attack as we were against the Bulldogs but the defence looks a lot better, Reed & Hodges in particular have come up with a number of really good efforts.

Forwards continue to throw some good tip ons while Hunt & Norman are doing well with shifting the ball. Both have been guilty of bad plays so not going to badger them.

Hopefully we can keep the effort up and target that right fringe.

I don't know how many would agree with me but I'd definitely have Maranta back over Hoffman next week who can stick it out in reserves unless there's an injury.

Copley should be back next week.

Hopefully Hoffman can turn it around in the second half though. That effort on Waqa was very soft.

NRL referees no longer ref the rules ... they ref to keep games close - if that decision was for a try at the other end for 18-0, there is NO WAY it's awarded ... absolutely none, nil ...

Loving Norman at fullback which is a massive shame coz in 2010 and 2011, Hoffman was probably our best player.

Besides, we received some fortunate calls. Six again when it looks like we threw a forward pass, Wallace taking out Slater when Reed took the bomb etc.

Just going to have to fire up. We were giving the Storm too many easy opportunities.
