lol at the plebs (opposition fans) calling Walshy soft all year. Old mate wanted to continue with a broken face in round three, and played through 65mins+ with a broken hand.

That is balls the size of Brisbane stuff. But we will continue to hear about him being soft from opposition fans because they just can’t cope with their attraction to them gorgeous eyes

That is simply not true:

The Broncos can provide an update on injuries to Reece Walsh, Payne Haas, Ezra Mam and Tyson Smoothy.

Walsh underwent scans after injuring his hand in Saturday night's win over the Cowboys in Townsville.

Broncos Head Of Performance David Ballard said: “Reece has sustained a metacarpal fracture and we will consult a specialist to determine the next steps."

Ballard also gave an update on Mam (syndesmosis), Haas (Lisfranc) and Smoothy (ankle).

"Ezra underwent surgery last week and will move into his rehab program over the coming weeks, with a view to return ready to go for preseason training later this year," said Ballard.

"Payne and Tyson both didn't require surgery.

“Payne will undergo some further testing in coming days before we can assess when he will return, while Tyson has begun his rehab work in the gym."

You a full quid brah?

Watch the news report I just linked. The club said they didn't feel the need to bring Walsh in for scans on his day off because they were confident there was no fracture, so they delayed the scans until today.

That's incompetence.

I am doubting myself should I go to this game because this is my second last game of the season

I'd be telling haas to have the rest of the season off. The people on fb saying we are still a chance for the 8 are living in absolute dreamland. We'd need 3 teams to absolutely choke to an extreme level, our 2022 level choke... 3 teams lol not happening. And I'm actually pissed the club is delaying acknowledging how shit they've been this year by hiding behind the "we're still a chance" crap.

Walsh should play when ready. He hasn't earnt a rest this year, he's had plenty. Despite peoples thouvht on his value Haas has at least earned a rest from his past 4 years.
This is like a form of Stockholm syndrome. We have been battered and bashed with injuries so bad that now even our fans cant seem to tell the difference between injured and rested players.

I think you mean "the full quid". If your going to try and insult someone for their lack of intelligence it pays to get it right.

That's not true, he went for scans on Saturday night and then again at the specialists on Monday.

That's pretty wild that a journalist is allowed to get on TV and just make stuff up, no?

Like, not even a small detail, to say that he won't come in to get scans on Monday because they're confident there's no fracture.. when in actuality he's already had scans and the club already knows he has a broken hand?

How can that person keep his job

Let’s hope Sailor can play some good footy to finish off his time with us. Would love to beat the Dolphins and eels.

If they're fit, they play. Wouldn't be playing anyone injured though (not until the grand final at least).

The teams above us don't really need to "choke" for us to overtake them. They all play a few games against each other, teams above them, or us. Only team with a relatively easy run in is the Dragons.

The most unlikely thing to occur to make the 8 is us winning 4 games in a row

The incompetence is the whole news report.

Well it is now with Walsh likely out for a few at minimum.

Parra, Dolphins and a 99% likely rested Storm is an easy draw to finish with.

I'd be playing Te Kura the rest of the year.

He is obviously fit to play again, as he was 18th man on Saturday.

We're unlikely to make the finals, so good time to get him some experience

Dean Ritchie
James Hooper
Danny Weidler
Peter Badel
The Mole

Five 'reporters' off the top of my head who have all had players / club staff point them out as making stuff up.

Meyn is reporting he's still a chance to play if he doesn't have surgery.
