I remember watching Moses a few years ago and thinking that he must have had the weakest boot in the NRL. Seems like it got stronger over time, hopefully for SOS's sake, it gets like that too.

It might even be advantageous for us to just throw this game. If we finish 7th, we fall on Melbourne's side of the draw. Finish 8th and we don't play them until the GF, and also means we may get Manly in W1 then Souths in W2.

What would we honestly prefer, a prelim in Melbourne or a prelim in Sydney or Canberra?

I hear what you say matey, but it's not and never has been the Bronco way of playing footy. There are some moves (like coming in and creating a fuss when your team mate has been fouled in order to stop play and get the play reviewed in the hope of getting a deserved penalty) that make sense but we never seem to do them. Then there is something as crooked as what you are suggesting. Some clubs probably do it but I hope to goodness we would never go down that path.

We're building at a great rate of knotts and soon enough we'll be steamrolling Melbourne and the rest to win the GF while playing teh Broncos way.

I'd rather face Melbourne before the GF. Better to get beat by 30 in a prelim than on the big day and never forget it.

Can't agree with that, SoS has no power in his kicks.

In all other play he is a better Half then Turpin no doubt but to argue SoS has a better kicking game is laughable.

I just remember most of turpins kicks went straight to the fullback. I’m not saying Sullivan’s kicks are better more so they are on par but Sullivan is just a better half back and should be getting picked based on the fact he’s an actual half.

look, Seans a kid and its not right we heap that type of pressure on him...

But...he needs game time, and we need to see if he does offer us what we need for next season...

Ill wait until game time to work out what Siebs actually does here but i cant hide my disappointment at him being dropped. TPJ out means we are crying out for some type, well any type, of attacking spark and he had something going with Fifita on the edge and frankly that's ALL we have going on there with Tevita out..

But what the **** do i know...only been following this team for 31 years...

This is what happens when you put team harmony ahead of your best chance of winning games

Remember how happy we were last year to fall on the “soft” side of the draw (vs the Dragons). Just need to win and play every game like it’s our last.

If we had of been given the Warriors like I thought was going to eventuate I think we would have made it to week 2. St George were always more likely to knock us off in a sudden death game then the mentally fragile warriors

As long as the opponent in the finals is not the Storm, the Broncs are a chance against anyone.

We’ll see how Melbourne contend with losing the best player of all time. We all know Bellamy’s record without him.
You've been saying this every since they lost Inglis, then Cronk, then Slater. They will continue to contend long after Smitty departs.

A man can dream. I still think Smith is in a different tier to the others. Only time will tell, but I don’t want to imagine Melbourne wrestling their way to top 2 finishes even without Smith around. God help the nrl if it continues.
