In my eyes we are favourites, not even close to our best and we beat a team playing like men possessed tonight. Roosters have been going well, we smashed them. Eels playing pretty well, we smashed them. Warriors at home with our B team? No probs.

We made that look harder than it had to be. I reckon the guys had the next few weeks on their minds.

Walsh was fair game but that unnecessary shot from Tapine was just a dog act. I always thought Tapine was a good player but looks like he is just another grub in a team of grubs.

I don't know what was going on with Capewell but that was a pretty ordinary display from him. It's hard to fathom that a guy of his experience still manages to give away a six again or a penalty nearly every game for holding down too long in the tackle.

Great to get the win and as usual we were just too strong at the end of the game. Once the mistakes stopped Canberra really struggled to get out of their half.

I don't see controversy with the escort. Raider has eyes for Cobbo only, ran across the ball and forced Selwyn off his line and denied him the opportunity to catch it. Regardless if he was 'always' going to tip it back - which is unknowable
- it denied him the opportunity. Penalty. If that went against us I'd cop it and shout at the offender to sell it better next time.

You don't have to like what Tapine did but it's not an illegal tackle...

Walsh had no issue with it and will probably realise he should drop on the ground next time.

The positive I saw was the team rallied around walsh and let tapine know it was a cheap shot even though it was completely legal. In recent years our players were bullied and pushed around yet the team did nothing about it.
