Everyone sees the Diamonds (.except last week, he was a quarry)
The problem I have is, as you pointed out, he has always been rocks and diamonds. At what point does he improve and start to be a few more diamonds than rocks ? Isn't experience supposed to bring that.
23 was a good example lots of diamonds along with the rocks. Last year and this year more rocks than diamonds.

But - we've got experience in the halves. I'm OK with the youthful exuberance atm. Cool and calm will be his job in a few more years
Look, he got his head taken off multiple times last year. I think that's a big part of the "to the line" yips and a general lack of confidence. Not to mention a new coach, two halfbacks and a missing 5/8th, I'd be surprised if he was running on all cylinders yet.
There's a decade and a half of a player left in him. If he doesn't ever take the #1 fullback mantle, there's still enough magic dust sprinkled on him to be a nett positive. If he's icing 2-3 clutch plays a week in his sleep, I'll give him a pass.
