Interestingly, our last win was against the Dogs. And we'll beat them again. One more loss to equal the record longest streak in the NRL era.. apparently

A common sense post. Spot on.This isn't some recent event, a new season isn't some magic reset. We are still running the same squad, give or take who lost 9 straight in '19 and got flogged by parra in the semi's night after a bash on the pokies. They then took home the wooden spoon the following year, and are now 0-2 to start this season with a first year coach. How much more time are we meant to give them again? Are the same players who have played in some record breaking losses going to find some hidden magic thats just been hiding for years.
SImply stating the blatant reality of the situation isn't whinging. Smiling and pretending everything's fine is just delusional....a few more weeks.
I mean what is whinging going to do about it? Support them or don't. New coach, new CEO incoming, more money to play with going forward. Have a coke and a smile and shut the **** up

Surely we can kick a few field goals from outside 40 or something...?0 to 100 just like that.
Forget that this is a professional sport where results are expected now, not in a distant future. How long do you consider patient, 5 years? A decade? I don't blame the players for this mess, Its a complete clusterf**k from an administration perspective. Watching Lockyer on Ch 9. interviewing opposition players tonight after the game, was weird. He was grilling some Titan players about their pre-season training, what they are doing etc. Reading between the lines it looked like he was after some info on the other clubs. No one is smiling and pretending everything is fine. There are positives but they require patience to come to fruition.

The concern is the year you’d expect us to be clear of deadweight and be strong in the player market, lines up with the year the new franchise starts in Brisbane and has to fill 32 spotsWell I already said a few weeks before we can surmise the whole season is a complete write-off. Long term, we are looking at two years or so before the roster is on the way to being sorted.
So 4 years stinkin' it up in total, give or take before we see something happen. I don't disagree, If we stick with this roster it would be more I imagine. It's not pessimism or sour grapes, it's just admitting the honest truth. This combination of players will not be able to win games, it's already proven. It's nothing to do with individual players, they might join other clubs and become much better players under the guidance of some experienced players and coaches. It's just that this roster as it is cannot compete and win in the NRL.Well I already said a few weeks before we can surmise the whole season is a complete write-off. We saw this combination of players running around last year, they have been well 'proven' already. Adding a first year coach doesn't erase that. 'Waiting' isn't a model for building a winning team. Im not asking you to care, I'm replying to your point that this team is capable of winning. This combination of players and this coach is not proven yet. Wait a bit longer. Or don't, I don't care.
I think we will only win by 20 this next game. Confidence is down a bit.

Is all experience equal is it? The experience of playing on a team with no real guiding influences on the field and continually losing will somehow breed champion players. Many of these guys aren't rookies anymore, they have several years under their belt. Stop pretending that the last 2 seasons didn't happen, they did, and the majority of the players on the current roster were playing.Oy Vey. You do realize young and inexperienced players get better with...experience?
I think I've made my point clear. Four, five weeks, sky falling etc.
