Teams need to start going for the 6 points rather than 2 against this style of defence.

If there is one thing WB/Boyd absolutely don't get right, it is their maths on :
1) when to take the tap (both in terms of stage of game, and momentum) and
2) at what point-differential to take the tap.

It also doesn't take into consideration the improved strike rate at the back end of halves when the opposition is up against a repeat set. Nor the psychological consideration of going up by 6.
 
By the letter of the law, that was a legitimate penalty.

I understand the Tigers frustration as everyone does something wrong in Golden Point, but that was still a legitimate penalty.

In saying that, we didn't deserve it.

I'm happy to get the two points, but we just did not deserve to win that.
 
I'd give Sims a 7, Issako and 8 because he can kick and the rest a 5

That and repeated penalties will lead to sin binnings... taking the goal releases all pressure and is exactly what the defence wants
