Only just had a chance to watch the highlights (was driving home and only heard on ABC Grandstand) but the real score should be 38-6 as the Cows 2nd try had a clear obstruction. It’s criminal had that is not called when on her games just making eye contact warrants a penalty.

I'm looking forward to @Wolfie humble pie. Sailor played a fair bit better than cobbo tonight. Still don't rate sailor?

No humble pie at all from me. Still dont particularly rate him that highly. I dont get carried away by one performance in a game where he wasn't put under that much pressure.

He had one really bad miss in defence which led to a try, but otherwise did exactly what i thought he would do and what i said he would do. Looks decent in attack, but i think if you put him under a lot of pressure he will be found wanting. Still stand by that. He wasnt tested at all tonight. He did what any remotely decent fullback would have done playing in a side that dominated the game. I'd be very worried if he struggled in a game like tonights.

Thanks mate, another dumb as **** comment and exactly the humble pie I was expecting lol. Better than a broncos victory!

Another quality comeback from you. Those insults are incredible. Keep up the good work kid!
Naww all good wolfie. I had the same egg on my face during the GF lol. Fed it to a panthers supporter at the pub and had to eat my fair share of dirt. Take it like a man champ and just admit you were wrong this week. Nobody likes a bad sport! I make shit calls all the time and the first to admit when I'm wrong! All in good fun.

Pretty sure he's not said he doesn't rate him, pretty sure he said he's concerned about his defence.

He did have a couple of poor efforts in that regard tonight, so tonight doesn't ease those concerns at all despite how good he was on the ball.

Well i dont rate him that much, ha ha!

@Manofoneway is just a kid having a bit of fun. Cant take him too seriously.

I'm not going to admit i got something wrong based on one solid ( not good or great ) game. As i said, he did pretty much what i said he would if the game went in our favour. I'll wait until he gets tested and see how he stands up.

I'll give you credit for sticking by your beliefs, if nothing else.

If you find a fullback that is as good defensively as he is in attack (nevermind a bloke who is a second stringer), you've deadset won the lotto. They simply don't come around that often. WALSH isn't that great defensively as he is in attack. That is why I'm willing to give Sailor a heap more credit for his efforts ball in hand than criticize for his inability to tackle a man one on one in broken field.

Sailor is a good player, but doesn't have the speed or defensive ability of the top flight fullbacks. I get what @Wolfie is saying and I would agree. He is perfect for what we need him for and that is it. Fill the gap and do a job. I don't see him in our top 17 in any position currently.

Yes exactly. I'm pretty sure we saw Walsh watch latrell run over the tryline a few weeks ago.

The difference is Walsh is elite on the ball and is at least competitive in D. Sailor has some good feet and nice skills but he is not elite.

Was wondering tbh, how were your seats? It was bucketing down at the start of the match.
Dry and thankfully I didn't get drenched like the others

If i see something i think i've got wrong i wont blindly stick to it because that would just be plain stupid, but as i keep saying, i'm not changing my mind about where i think he isnt up to scratch based on one game where he didnt get put under much pressure.

I think he's fairly decent in attack, i think i've made that pretty clear but from what i've seen of him in Queensland cup and at times in first grade, i dont think he's as good as people make him out to be with some of his effort areas and his defence. We had this with the likes of Turpin when he first got in the team. People get carried away then the more they play, the more you see their flaws. He is what he is, a reasonable backup fullback.
